I always think of that game when anyone mentions Yie-Ar...

Yeah way of the exploding fist was great, wasn't it Melbourne house that made that one for the C64.

And after that the International Karate games came along on the Amiga, also great games.

man I so remember it but its very vague, I thought this was the game I remembered when I saw the fat guy, then the pole guy, but I don't remember the others.

Did you fight yourself at the end of Exploding Fist ?? I want them to bring that out !!!! same developers ??

I enjoy this game more than Aegis Wing.  I don't see why people cry about having to pay $5 for a game.  Are you people really that poor where $5 is going to put a financial strain on you??

5 bucks aint the issue but when other consoles have free online ( crappier setup) but you pay about the same on theirs for good games ( marios, zeldas) as you would the kung-fu game which might be fun to some but no where near the quality of other games for the price. To each his own Super Contra is pretty decent.

Some people like this game, if you don't then don't download it, it's that simple. Besides, Aegis Wing is the only free game you get. (and I can't even get it...) If you'd rather have a crappy game for free...I don't see the problem in getting a good game for free, but maybe that's just me.

imo this game looks and plays better in the classic retro mode. The new graphics look rather gutless.  And way of the Expolding fist was an awesome speccy game (yes it was by Melbourne House)  def up for a remake!

I'd still rather play Yie Ar Kung Fu than the Marios or Zeldas, simply because this game(and every XBL arcade gave) keeps track of high scores with leaderboards and had co-op play.  None of the Wii games do that.  By the way, Nintendo has a few crappy games I know I would never spend $5 on, like Urban Champion and Soccer.
