Faceplates

I have a small problem with my face plate, or what I think is the face plate. The front USB's with the flap over the front, well some how I have manged to snap something and the flap won't return to the orignal place to cover the USB's.

I was wondering, is this part from the face plate, is the face plate broken, and if so, how do you remove this from the Xbox 360 as I don't have a clue how to remove it, and what would be the best plate to get, thats not to expensive.

If it is the Xbox 360, would it be worth replacing it, resulting in my 3rd Xbox going back?

Thanks.

Yes it is part of the face plate. You can take it off just pull starting from the right side with your fingers under the faceplate and you will be able to snap it off, sometimes it seems as if it will break it is so stiff but should come right off for you. You can buy replacements at Walmart, Bestbuy, etc for $20 or less and they are much better looking than the white ones.

Hope this helps.

Re: Faceplates
Thanks, I presume the right side is when it is laying down, rather then standing up. So it would be the bottom when standing up. Anyway, thanks alot.Smile [:)]

Re: Faceplates

It's pretty easy, My little brother was 11 and he did it, but he couldn't make it stay in place so I taped it.
