can anyone tell me if it's possible to skip tournements in the season mode - as it doesn't seem to let me do this - I want to be able to skip through to play in only certain events to help me get achievements.

I think the best you can do is simulate the first 2 rounds and then play the last 2,if you make the cut.

If your looking to get all the achievements, you don't want to skip them anyway.  You've got to get 100% completion, and the only way to do that is get all the trophy balls.  One trophy ball says "make every cut in a pga tour season"

best to play all of them but yeah you can skip, just goto the first day of the tournament you want and play it but beware you cant play any tournament before it once you progress.

I'm pretty sure the 100 percent completion is for the tiger challenge only, for the Silver, bronze and gold medals.  I didn't see any achievement having to do with getting all the trophie balls?  Am i wrong on this?

In answer to the first guys question.  I turned my tournaments to single round affairs and have won the first three to grab a SUBSTANTIAL lead in the fed ex point standings, it says if you skip you forfeit the points, so i may go home and try and skip a few tonightr and see if how long it takes for the rest of the field to catch up.  That way I can get through to the majors and then the fed ex cup achievement.

I'm fairly positive that for the 100% completion achievement, you've got to get every trophy ball.  In order to get every trophy ball, you've got to the the trophy ball for making every cut in a pga tour season.  I've beat the entire tiger challenge and and haven't gotten and achievement.  We're talking about Tiger Woods 07, not 08

Can someone explain exactly how you skip tournaments in 07? It will let me simulate the first 2 rounds, but there is no "simulate" option for the 3rd and 4th rounds.

When I try to start anything past the next avaliable tournament, it says "this event has not yet taken place"

         

You can't totally skip tournaments the simulate rounds lets you pass rounds 1 & 2 so you can go on to complete rounds 3 & 4 but for 1 trophy ball you have to make every cut so you have to play all the rounds for that competition through out the entire season. If you skip then you won't get the trophy ball and you would have to do it all over again in the 2nd season I lost 1 tournament so I have to win all the trohpy's again in season 2 for the win all trohpy's in a single season ball.

what about when you simulate the first 2 rounds and dont make the cut on 3rd? this happend to me on world championship 2 and  two others i dont recall, now ther locked! i only need like 3 tournaments to complete this,and get all the trophys, what do i do to get those back,or unlocked.

Don't think you can go back mate, you will have to play them in your next season.

i kind of figured that but i wasnt sure.i guess next time around i wont simulate that second round.well better shine up the clubs its tee time.thanks for note

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, I won't get the trophy unless I play every single round?  So I'm at the first tourney and I played the first round and simulated the second and I made the cut.  Now I'm about to start my third, so can I still get the trophy for this tournament?
