Maybe so, but thats how i feel about the t-hunts. I was also told that the patch that came out for 2 made the terrorists harder, ie. more armor, better tactics, and better A.I. I had the t-hunts done on realistic before that update cameout so mybe that was the case.

I love the Shield! I havn't tried terrorist hunt with it yet, but from my campaign experiences it's just awesome. They can barely hit you, and the only way you could die is if you get caught from the sides. What was your main strategy of movement when attempting the missions though?

If I used a shield, I would try to keep my back to a wall at all times. If I was runnin' n' gunnin', I'd take smokes and flashbangs, and look around a heck of a lot before I went forward. Them terrorists are crafty in single player.

I tried out the missions with the Shield this weekend and they're actaully pretty easy with it. I'm stuck on Library at the moment as its somewhat hard, but I'll be able to complete them all later.

Well, it appears that my previous post is incorrect information. On Ubisoft's main page, in the "coming soon" section on the bottom right of the page they list "Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.", and from the trailer I just watched (linked from Amazon.com) it looks like a flight sim game.  Says it's available for pre-order, in stores on March 08, of 2009.

Ubisoft has issued NO press releases the pertain to any other Tom Clancy games. Great... first we get a crap-*** realtime strategy game, now some junk flight sim game... ... ...dammit, I want REAL Tom Clancy action. Not this junk they're putting out lately.

Ha! Thanks for this. I just did all the T-hunt missions on realistic splitscreen using this gamertag and my dummy co-op account. After it didn't unlock I came here and found the answer I was looking for. Gonna have fun playing this for another 2 hours. :p

Yes, you can play with your custom character in a single-player Terrorist hunt. I believe when you're setting up the game there should be an option for character in the first set-up screen. It's all the way at the bottom, beneath the "Enemy Density" option. It says "Select Character."  Highlight it then select "Custom Character". Once you've done that select the map and difficulty then select "start game". Bam, you're doing a single-player terrorist hunt with your custom character. Enjoy.

Ok I guess I should have put on max armor instead of my standard online no armor. Is it possible to change without losing progress?

And how come I can't select shield?
