Most of you probably know that Metal Slug 3 (best of the series) is coming to XBLA fairly soon. I think it would be good to get some discussion on what future Neogeo or SNKp titles you would like to see on XBLA.
Don't just say i want Garou:motw, and leave it at that, say why you think Garou:motw should be on XBLA. What i will say though is be realistic, remember this about money at the end, and easy to pick and up play games with nostalgia will probably sell more than very good, but little known high learning curve fighting games, such as Garou.
Anyway down to business. My list
1. Samurai Shodown 2
One of SNKs greatest games ever. It had blood and gore, this is a must if it ever gets released in xbla. We don't want it censored like on other home ports. The action is alot slower paced. Its about controlling the space and out poking your opponent. A true thinking mans fighting game, that doesn't rely on great execution or amazing combos. Because of this I think it would do very well on XBLA, very much pick and play. Although it might be slow for some.
2. Art of Fighting 2
Another big successful title made by SNK during the SF2 era. Alot of people praise this game for its superb graphics and detail. As a fighting game, its not particularly great imo anyway. But the concept it is really simple, just the spirit gauge might annoy those who are used to using special moves continuously and whenever they want.
3. King of Fighters
I think SNK's most succesful series will have to eventually make its way over to XBLA, Question is which game?
I say something from between 94-98. 99-2001 is during the decline and bankruptcy of SNK and it really shows in the games. 2002 is considered the best of the series along with 98, but its complex for the casual gamer. So in saying that i'd imagine it would probably be either 94 or 96. 94 cause it was the first and is the least complex. Or 96, thats when Kof changed alot about the gameplay and moved away from being just another SF2 type fighting game. I wouldn't say 98 cause thats getting the makeover treatment for PS2 and is getting released fairly soon. Who knows though.
4. Puzzle Bobble (Bust-A-Move)
Everyone remembers the puzzle bobble games, a great fun puzzle party game. This would work great on XBLA. I don't think i could much more
5.World Heroes 2 or Perfect
With some WH characters appearing in Neogeo Battle Coliseum and the upcoming release of World Heroes Gorgeous (all world heroes games collection), it looks like SNKp are actually starting to think about the old ADK series again. You'll find alot of misinformed people saying World Heroes is rubbish, but it obviously did well enough to spawn a total of 4, which alot better than most SF2 rip offs. I would say World Heroes 2 be most casual gamer friendly and ones remembered most by fans, due to the deathmatch mode. Theres even simple Autocombos (AAAA for most characters) that want to stay clear from complex things. WH Perfect is probably the most fun one though, but more complex. Plus the game would need to be rated R due to this

Not the greatest game every released by SNK, but a football game where you can shoot and kick the crap out of opponents is fine with me, oh yeah if you want to score goals you can do that too, with an array of special and super shots. Really simple game thats good for laugh, which i think could work on XBLA. Just needs a bit of graphical makeover. IMO, i think Mario Strikers on the wii just totally copied this game.
Anyone agree or disagree with list then speak up, Also can anyone think of other Neogeo or SNK games which could well on XBLA?
