Cheevo guide
Orientation:
Don't think of left and right, it's not much use.  This of clockwise and anticlockwise.  If you learn that all but a few levels make a lot more sense.

Scoring:
Bull Grunts to get a multiplier, the more at once the better.  Then concentrate on bullets.  Each that you shoot will bounce, returning later, but any still there at the end of the level earn a 'sneeze bonus'.

Villans:
Grunts - X shaped guys that go anticlockwise (right). Wait till they get to the top and then run over them to 'bull' them off and build up a multiplier. On some levels they shoot bullets that you can bounce.
Flowers - Avoid the heads, some grow over the rim and block off part, while others detach below it and float up. You build powerzone shooting them, but can't always shoot them down. Sometimes you're best off just avoiding them and letting them grow.
Containers - These hold either about 10 Grunts or 3 flowers and look like a cluster of them. When you shoot them they go "Ni!" and split off one of their contents to a nearby lane. If you bull them they do the same. The Grunt ones are good for bulling, but beware that some of the Grunts will shoot as soon as they land in a lane. The Flower ones are tougher because they can create a wall of Flowers in a row at the same height.
Boffins - (20s on) These look like a ball.  Smooth ones don't shoot back, spikey ones shoot b'stard diagnonal shots that are hard to avoid. They alternate travel up the lanes and across them.  If you shoot them while they are travelling up they speed up.  If you shoot them while they are going across they die with a smash sound. When they get to the top they roll along it and kill you if they touch you.  Either jump and shoot over them or use your A-bomb.
Feedback monsters - (30-something) These behave like Grunts, but they don't change lanes. They distort the screen when you shoot them. They will keep going after pausing on the rim and some will shoot down with hard to avoid shots.
Rotors - (50s) These spin the whole screen.  This can induce serious brain damage on later levels. Some, when they get to the rim, shoot bullets each way along it that you can jump.  On closed loop levels don't let them get to the top, as the bullets will go round a couple of times.
Zappers - (70s) These travel above the level and every few seconds 'zap' a lane.  They have a distinctive building up noise that you can avoid. They take out the whole lane right to the edges, so don't try to grab pods in the adjacent lanes, as you'll die. They're not that tough on their own, but they stop you bulling and trap you on one side, often while Boffins or agressive Rotors get to the rim on the other side.
Screaming Flowers (late 80s) - I hate these. They look like normal flowers, but when you shoot them they scream and launch a flower head up the lane very, very fast. You can only dodge them. Did I mention that I hate them?

Easy Cheevos: you'll get all of these within a few hours play time
Professor of Giraffeology - Score over 10 million on Tutorial Level: 10G
Go for jump pods and bull like crazy on the first two levels.  Get a 9x multiplier on the last level and bounce as many bullets as you can for a big sneeze bonus.

Girafa Garantido - Dont lose a life for 16 levels: 10 G
Once you've got up to level 80 or so go back to the first 16 levels and play through them carefully.

Pod Presever - Complete 16 levels without using a pod: 10G
See "Girafa Garantido", use your A-bomb when you don't have power.

Girafa Caprichoso - End five consecutive levels with Bonus Multiplier 9x: 15G
Bull like crazy on levels 2-6 (it's almost impossibly to get up to 9x on level 1)

Boi Bumbá - Get Bonus Multiplier up to 9x in one Bull Run: 10G
You'll get this learning to bull-run.  Level 2 is pretty good for it.

Klepto-Giraffe - Collect 20 pods without missing one: 10G
Like "Girafa Garantido", just make sure you grab every pod on the early levels.

Ewige Blumenkraft - Keep the very first flower to grow alive until the end of the level: 15G
The early flower levels are best for this.  You want a flower at the edge at the start of a level and you don't want fast-bullets.  Then just shoot it back every time it gets close to the top. I got this on one of the early L shaped levels

Mine's a 99 - Get 9 lives and a 9x Bonus Multiplier: 10G
Another one you'll get replaying early levels.  It's hard to miss while going for "Girafa Garantido".

Hard Cheevos:
Great Green Arkleseizure - Get more than 20 Sneeze Bonuses leaving a level: 10G
On the later stages (70+) you'll get this every few levels.  It's hard to get early on because there aren't that many bullets.

I Adore My 64 - Complete level 64 without losing a life while playing it: 15G
There's a trick to 64, it becomes more clear each time you play it.  I try to stick to one of the 'sides' and out of the loops in each corner, switching sides to kill rotors and grab pods. Stay off any side with a flower on it.

ERROR_SUCCESS - Finish level 100: 50G
You get this when you beat 100.  You can continue from anywhere.  This unlocks Super Ox mode when you get it.
I can't advise on this as I'm still stuck on it.

All hail the king Cheevos:
Long Necked Long March - Finish level 100, having started on level 1: 35G
So play from 1-100 in one go.  Should take about 3 hours each time.  I can't get from 70-90 in one go, never mind the whole game. If you can do this: hats off to ye.

Hope this helps! All feedback welcome.

You're welcome.

I might try, but the shapes of the various villians are really abstract, so a grunt on one level might look very different from one on the next, but they're always an X shape.

Re: Cheevo guide
The trick for simply beating level 100 for ERROR_SUCCESS, I think, is to just grab as many pods as you can early on while just shooting everything and not worrying about bull runs or multipliers. Then when the level starts spinning and being annoying, just hold out for as long as you can in one "corner" of the level, then jump all the way over to the other side when you're about to get killed by something. It won't yield a very impressive score, but you'll beat the level. Another good idea could be to start from maybe level 90 or so (the 90s are way easier than the 60s/70s/80s) and grab some extra lives for level 100 (and if you're grabbing all the pods, you'll get another life at the beginning of 100).

Also, it probably should be noted that a sneeze bonus is an enemy shot that you've juggled off the power zone and kept there until the level ends.

Re: Cheevo guide
I'm not sure. I didn't like the Shadowrun demo, seemed too unfinished, with some nice ideas but an overpowered Katana and not enough variety.

It's quicker to type that achievement tho', which I like ;-)

That's a really well written guide. Smile [:)]

Here's the 'official' guide, written by Jeff Minter himself, which is (slightly) more detailed:

Still needs pics though.  Smile [:)]
