I dont care about local coop, but all over xbox.com it said that you could play sonic and tails online, and that there woudl be coop. FALSE ADVERTISING. there is no live coop, which is BS.

No llive co-op!? WTF? Then why does the game say that it does have Live multiplayer? This is unbelievable. The only reason I was going to buy this game was cause I thought it had online co-op. I'm so f*cking pissed now.

^Hear hear to that my friend. Wandering slowly as Sonic while letting tails keep up is rubbish, there was never co-op just an easter egg that let a second player take control. It was never meant for seriuos co-op play, just a **** about. Why does everyone buy games based on online play nowadays???? Buy the game for the classic it is and stop whining about nothing.

It IS false advertising because the Xbox.com page among others specifically mentioned online coop, AND online versus... and the only online mode it really has is the versus.

Lots of people bought it just for the online coop. That's the reason I didn't purchase the game anyway.

Microsoft could have a problem here. There are truth in advertising laws. One of the things that sold me on this was that I thought I would be able to play co-op over Xbox Live.

I am really upset that I was misold this product. Unless microsoft requests teh developers to create an update for the game so the un-happy customers can have their live co-op I am going to try see if I can get a refund (which is probably going to be a big fat no). The only reason I wanted sonic was for co-op tbh. I love the game but it's more fun co-op.

There has never ben co-op in sonic, never. It was just an easter egg and if you made it o-op then it was your choice as it was never an actual option in the game....ever.

^I always wondered that as a kid actually. I do remember there being an action replay code that allowed you to use any zone in the game, i unfortunatley never had an action replay though :(

why do people ***** and moan to no end about no co-op in sonic 2?

The co-op is terrible anyhow, the computer controls tails half the time when you are DIRECTLY behind sonic, because its one screen, not split screen, never was never will.

although i do find it weird how they made MP split screen but not co-op.
