Introduction
In Shrek the Third you adventure as Shrek and his friends to save Far Far Away in a hilariously twisted fairy tale from the movie and beyond. The game takes players on an epic journey through the worlds of Far Far Away after Prince Charming storms the city with an army of villains in order to seize the throne. You are challenged to rescue pals, face off against Charming's henchmen, gather collectibles, test their gaming skills in numerous boss fights and engage in various single player and multiplayer mini games.

- Battle All New Enemies: This all-new cast of villains includes hilarious gnomes, arrogant jocks and dangerous pirates. Take on bosses like the huge Ice Dragon, the devious Prince Charming and Hook's band of pirates.
- Collect Coins and Unlock Features: Collect the gold coins scattered throughout the kingdom to unlock new costumes, special bonuses, multiplayer maps, extra characters and even special Pinocchio and Gingy's commentary.
Mini Games
There are five mini games to enjoy with Shrek and friends, arcade style. Play by yourself or with a friend. Can you score high enough to get a gold medal in all the games?
Catacombs Leap - One by one, get Shrek and his friends across to the gates at the Other side as fast as you can. Whatever you do, don't look down! Double jump And get across the catacombs more quickly. If you fall, you will lose a life. Every 500 points earns you an extra life. Collect the stars and earn 100 points each
Frog Herder - Chase all the frogs into the nearby ponds before the clock runs out. Keep an eye out for exploding obstacles! In 2-Player, your character needs to guide the frogs to the pond, to the left and right of the field. Power-ups can make the frogs Swarm to you or reverse your opponent's controls. They can also change your speed.
Ships Ahoy - Use the cannon to protect the treasure from the incoming pirates. Don't Let them near the beach White ships are 100 points; red ships are 250 points and black Ships are 600 points. The golden bonus ship is worth 1,000 points!
Shooting Gallery - Fling tomatoes at the moving enemy targets but watch out For Donkey Hitting the clock or hitting two targets at once will give you a 5 second time bonus. Hitting Donkey will give you a 10 second penalty.
Shrekleboard - Shoot pucks into the scoring zones. Beat Hook's score to advan
Characters
Shrek - The smelly green ogre with a fragrant heart of gold is just getting used to married life when Fiona gets preggers and King Harold falls ill. Lest Shrek be tasked with ruling a kingdom, he sets out on a quest -- with Donkey and *** in Boots in tow to find the next heir to the throne of Far Far Away.
Fiona - Shrek's leading lady is smart, tough and can kick the snot out of a band of baddies without breaking a sweat. Good thing, too, since Fiona and her band of butt kicking princesses must defend the kingdom from a coup attempt by the jilted Prince Charming.
Donkey - Shrek's best friend and biggest annoyance is now proud papa to a brood of dronkeys. Although he wants to spend time with his family, Donkey would never let Shrek go on a quest alone. He may not be a noble steed, but when it comes to friendship, Donkey is a stallion.
*** In Boots - Shrek's other loyal sidekick, *** in Boots has the strength, bravery and romanticism of Zorro but in the body of a sweet little kitty cat.
Dragon - She may be 400 feet long, breathe fire and chew up bad guys for breakfast but Dragon is all women. Since marrying the love of her life, aka Donkey, she's popped out five adorable dronkeys.
Items Of Use In The Game
Fairy Dust – Use it to build up your power meter for special attacks
Fairy – Fills your power meter with fairy dust
Gold Coins – Use them to purchase things in the gift shop
Treasure Chest – Open to find lots of gold coins for use in the game
Souvenir Mugs – Collect them and then turn them in for gold coins
Thingies - Smash these to collect fairy dust. Smashing boxes and other random objects will also net you money at the end of the level
Food - Replenishes health and awards fairy dust
Green Onion - Once Shrek" eats one of these enemies beware
Sketches – Crayon colour drawings of Shrek’s journey collect them all
