Hey All,

I know, I know, it's been like months and we haven't posted anything. I apologize for our lack of updates, but we haven't forgotten about the competition or anything like that. In fact we have all of the winners up right now at
www.alienhominid.com In addition to the updates we have also announced a new competition that we have coming up. You can read all about it on our site and also it's important to mention that at the end of this month we are taking a break from the leaderboard challenge to make room for our latest contest.

Thanks! I'll try to be on here more, I should see if I can get a Castle Crashers forum added on here as well so we can migrate over there.

Hmm weird, it should have added you to that list once you got the three wins. I'll take care of it. Thanks for pointing it out.

Oh neato, thanks for the reminder Egyokeo. Hey Behemhem, if you could jot down yours truly on that Hall of Fame list as well, I'd much appreciate it. I'm listed 3 times on the leaderboards of the AH website (once under each category...all in August, but what's in a name?). Glad to know I made it in before the cut. Well, keep up the good work...can't wait to see what Castle Crashers is going to have in store for us.

I am also not listed under the Hall of Fame, but also won three times, all in AYCE: 7/21, 9/15, 922. If could make the change to your records it would be much appreciated.

Yes!! My girlfriend has been wondering when we would get an AH trophy to place upon the mantle. It broke her heart when I told her that it didn't look like the contest was still going. She will lose her mind when I tell her I was wrong. We're both big fans going back to the PS2 release of AH (We even bought the GBA version from England. Why didn't that come out here in the states?).

Some feedback... when you mouse over the hall of famers and some of the leaderboard gamertags, the popup gamer tag is shownig for the wrong line. No biggie.

Also, can I say I'm just so jealous of August Ham Man for being the first to get hall of fame for each category. I'm still in therapy over that one lol But congrats August Ham Man!

Really wish I had time to beat Low Quality's score. He got a trophy at least but now neither of us are in the Hall of Fame. I probably would've gone for AYCE if I wasn't the only one on at the time. Well at least I hold the record for lowest winning scores on AHHD. Not sure if that's something to be proud of. I do have a considerably higher score on the Lifetime leaderboard(#14).

Now, I wonder what this "special prize" could be for us Hall of Famers; gold, trophy-ized versions of those limited Castle Crashers figures? Or maybe - if I'm lucky - just a hug from my mom when I tell her the good news Smile [:)]

Ya I don't see you either. I was thinking you had to refresh the page, because I thought I had to do it to see me, but maybe I was seeing things.

Sorry I blocked your last week swordsman yong .... but i've wanted a trophey sorta badly for quite some time now ... and this week was my last chance ....

I've had troubles trying to get a trophey recently because my 360 went down in late july and i got a replacement console in mid august.

I almost got a trophey before my 360 broke in late july ..... well i was number 1 on the weekly scoreboard before it broke ..... but after my 360 broke ..... egyokeo beat my score and i had no clue about it since i couldn't check the scoreboard ( no 360 and there were no updates on the official website for most of summer ) and couldn't do nothing about since i couldn't play too .... lol ..... .... i ended up having to ask augustham man through the forums to find out ( i fgured he might have beaten my score since he was the last previous winner and could have been going for a triple week win ) .... lol ....

Even though i got my 360 back weeks later ..... i currently have this problem with my old DLC/arcade games on my new console in which when i lose my internet connection the game will appear as a trial/demo ...... if this happens i will then lose all current progress on the arcade game i'm playing , lose my high score and be sent to title screen. ( there is a huge complaint thread about this issue in the wishlist forums )

Naturally this spells disaster if i'm going for a high score on alien hominid because it takes hours to develope a number 1 high score that's hard to beat and all i need is to have one disconnect , to make all my efforts worthless.

Plus i don't have the most reliable of connections ... my connection likes to drop out during busy times and randomly sometimes ...... making this problem even worse .....

not to mention the 360 itself isn't a very reliable console too ..... so who knows one could get a random freeze up too.

So i had many odds against me ..... if my arcade games/dlc were working normally i wouldn't be in such a problem , since if i got disconnected all i'd have to do is simply reconnect .....

Plus after the recent announce that last week was the last week for trophies for a while , it was pretty much my last chance to get one in my eyes.
So luckily i got a replacement in time for that.

Luckily my connection or console didn't freeze up on me , and i managed to get a high score on the friday before the previous weekend and just hoped nobody could top it in time .

Last week probably was the best time to do it too because everybody was busy playing halo 3 because of it's launch.

It was my last chance to get a trophey and i was waiting ever since my 360 broke almost 2 months ago .....

All i really wanted was one trophey in the end ...... so don't worry i won't be appearing again on the leaderboards if they start up the competition again in the future ( unless i don't end up receiving my trophey somehow .... like if it went missing in the post or something ..... , so then i probably will try again ..... lol ... but i only wanted one )

Oh yeah what name will they put on your trophies ? your gamertag or your real name if you request it ?

On another note I'm still waiting for microsoft to fix my DLC/arcade games , but they're taking their sweet time ....as I've been waiting for 3 weeks now ....
