Sorry I blocked your last week swordsman yong .... but i've wanted a trophey sorta badly for quite some time now ... and this week was my last chance ....
I've had troubles trying to get a trophey recently because my 360 went down in late july and i got a replacement console in mid august.
I almost got a trophey before my 360 broke in late july ..... well i was number 1 on the weekly scoreboard before it broke ..... but after my 360 broke ..... egyokeo beat my score and i had no clue about it since i couldn't check the scoreboard ( no 360 and there were no updates on the official website for most of summer ) and couldn't do nothing about since i couldn't play too .... lol ..... .... i ended up having to ask augustham man through the forums to find out ( i fgured he might have beaten my score since he was the last previous winner and could have been going for a triple week win ) .... lol ....
Even though i got my 360 back weeks later ..... i currently have this problem with my old DLC/arcade games on my new console in which when i lose my internet connection the game will appear as a trial/demo ...... if this happens i will then lose all current progress on the arcade game i'm playing , lose my high score and be sent to title screen. ( there is a huge complaint thread about this issue in the wishlist forums )
Naturally this spells disaster if i'm going for a high score on alien hominid because it takes hours to develope a number 1 high score that's hard to beat and all i need is to have one disconnect , to make all my efforts worthless.
Plus i don't have the most reliable of connections ... my connection likes to drop out during busy times and randomly sometimes ...... making this problem even worse .....
not to mention the 360 itself isn't a very reliable console too ..... so who knows one could get a random freeze up too.
So i had many odds against me ..... if my arcade games/dlc were working normally i wouldn't be in such a problem , since if i got disconnected all i'd have to do is simply reconnect .....
Plus after the recent announce that last week was the last week for trophies for a while , it was pretty much my last chance to get one in my eyes.
So luckily i got a replacement in time for that.
Luckily my connection or console didn't freeze up on me , and i managed to get a high score on the friday before the previous weekend and just hoped nobody could top it in time .
Last week probably was the best time to do it too because everybody was busy playing halo 3 because of it's launch.
It was my last chance to get a trophey and i was waiting ever since my 360 broke almost 2 months ago .....
All i really wanted was one trophey in the end ...... so don't worry i won't be appearing again on the leaderboards if they start up the competition again in the future ( unless i don't end up receiving my trophey somehow .... like if it went missing in the post or something ..... , so then i probably will try again ..... lol ... but i only wanted one )
Oh yeah what name will they put on your trophies ? your gamertag or your real name if you request it ?
On another note I'm still waiting for microsoft to fix my DLC/arcade games , but they're taking their sweet time ....as I've been waiting for 3 weeks now ....
