I'm new to the auction house stuff........If a car has an unlocked design, but has tuned, or 260 mph written on the custom design, is it possible to get that off?......

If you're asking can you buy a car on the Auction House which is supposedly tuned for certain things, and get rid of the design?  If that's the question, yes, you can paint the car - even a LOCKED car, and remove all the designs off.

I would be cautious on the Auction House, because what might be advertised isn't necessarily so.  I believe 260 mph is beyond the range of any car in the game.  I would check the top times on the Sunset Oval and watch some of the top 10 replays before you can judge whether a car can do 260 mph or not.

hi sno......what I want to know is, alot of guys have beautiful paint jobs, unlocked, but they have words written on the side, so you know if the car is a drift car, tuned for MPH, etc.....do they expect you to get rid of the whole paint job?......or is there a way just to0 remove those advertising slogan and keep the paint jobs......

Oh, okay, no don't do a full paint job on it.  Just go into the Livery Editor and do the individual right/left side, read end, top or wherever the thing is you want to remove.  You'll be able to highlight the proper portions - like "MPH" - and just deleted that, leaving the rest.

hi sno, thanks for answering these questions......I have a couple more.....If you buy a locked design, can you remove it and store it.....and if you can, can you re apply it to the same car later....Also, on an unlocked design, same question...thanks again

Locked designs are locked.  The only way to get rid of them is to paint the car, and then the design is permanently removed and makes the car unlocked.

Yes on all questions regarding unlocked designs.  You can save an unlocked design either for an entire same model car (it can't just be for "Fords"), by sides, top, front bumper, etc., or individually save portions of designs to new vinyls. 

Go to the first post in this thread, and follow some of the links for the tutorials and information in older Pitpass Reports.  A lot of your questions are already covered previously in this thread.

All you need do is read the first post in this thread.  It has links to tutorials and very good advice.  You can also check out the Liveries forum over on the official Forza Motorsport 2 forums and the Livery Editor FAQ which is loaded with information, links and tutorials.

One can't just say "do this" and bingo! you're expert in the use of the Livery Editor.

dont worry bout the times on speed way lol every 1 knows the really high top speed times r generally set on nur. wich has a huge straight away and even after the straight ends u can keep going and gain speed even after that 4 a ways so the could have done 260 on nuir. with a gt40 if they tuned it rlly rlly well

an achievement is about winning bey a race section how much is that

Your question is off-topic for this thread, which is about Painting/Graphics Questions.  The answer is that it depends on a lot of factors, including the Class of the car, what upgrades you have on the car, the distance of the race, your Level in Career, the assists you use, etc., etc.  Each race section will tell how many base credits can be won by winning that race, and then the other factors start coming into play.  There is no exact answer.

When I copy all vinyls from the right to the left side there backwards on the right side so is there a way to make them not backwards or will I have to redo whats on the left, but on the right?

you go to the other side you want and I believe you press A where the menu shows up for like apply manufacture decal and stuff like that.

 Then you go down to where it says copy vinyls from left/right or something like that ( I haven't played the game in a while since my 360 broke down

 i don't think you can, you need to make a vinyl group from the correct side and put it on to the other
