Ok, how many of you are happy with your purchase?

So far I must say this game is alot of fun. It is challenging enough playing the AI. The online matches are very exciting. Each game I have played online has my heart pounding looking for the last second move to claim sweet victory. This is by far my new favorite XBox Arcade game. I only hope they give us some good DLC as in new classes, spells, and quests down the road.

Ps, if you are on the fence about buying this game and you like RPG style charactor building type games, take the plunge and buy it. You will probably not regret it.

I love it. Definately the best Live Arcade game currently available. I was playing earlier, and before I knew it four hours had gone by. Think I'll go and melt some more time away.

Waiting for: Something, I'm sure.

Awesome and well worth the points.  That's something I can say for very few XBLA games.

I totally agree. I had played the PC demo and loved it. I don't, however have a PSP or DS so I was a litle bumed. Then I found out it was gonna be on LIVE Arcade and, needless to say, i was very excited. I was a little skeptical at the 1200 MP price tag but in the end it was very worth it, definitly a must buy.
Live to love, love to live.

15 dollars is nothing when you get a game as feature packed and deep as PQ. I've gotten more enjoyment out of it than I have some of the full 60 dollar retail titles.

Good luck to the developers of XBLA games that are gonna price them at 1200 points from here on out. They've got quite alot to live up to after this.

I LOVE this game!! It's already got me hooked and I only got it yesterday. I can't believe people are complaining about the 1200 points price, this is a bargain as far as I'm concerned. I'll be splitting my time between this, Halo 3 and CSI for the next few weeks at least.

So far i've not dowloaded it but have played the demo a couple of times and i'm hooked on that so will without a doubt download it later today.

By the way how impressive was that trial version in terms of length Big Smile [:D]

Re: Ok, how many of you are happy with your purchase?

Every time a new XBLA game comes out, there is usually a thread that says "Best Arcade game yet!", but in this case it is true.  PQ is fantastic, and I think that I will get more out of this than any other game on Arcade to this point.

I also agree that it is better than at least a handful of retail games out there.

I'm really into it.  This is totally what I was expecting.

It reminds me a little like MTG.

I'm still in the early stages of the quest, but I like to see more quests that can be downloaded at a later point.

I liked the demo and played it for hours this morning but the price tag is a lil steep for me right now.

Really excited about my purchase so far.  Definitely a lot of depth for an arcade game and a good deal in my opinion since the handheld versions were twice as much.

You wouldn't guess it if you were listening to me play (as I tend to yell at the CPU AI for getting tons of crazy combos left and right from gems that just HAPPEN to fall in its favour) but 100% definitely satisfied. The depth and replay value keep me coming back.

Too true.  It's funny, although the developer claims it is fair.  I've had a few matches where I was down 15-20 HP before making my first move!

I love this game. I hope they add DLC later on to increase the max character level. That would be nice.

Re: Ok, how many of you are happy with your purchase?
At first when I saw the price at 1200 I was a little bleh to purchase it, I'v been waiting on this release for about 2 weeks after coming across it on the xbox live arcade on the website. I downloaded the demo played it for 5 minutes then purchased the full one. I have to say there is a lot of content they put into this, the quest's are so much fun they keep you going and going, the entire forging/citadel items skill points the "gem/battle system" it's extremly unique I have no played anything like this before and I'm playing it over all of my major games right now H3 ect. Extremly happy with the purchase, and even on "normal mode" it is quiet a challange. I have yet to play online because I'm only level 12 and there arent to many people around my level that I have seen yet but I can't wait to try that out.

I had never actually heard of this game.

Downloaded demo, not expecting TOO much and wow, what a pleasant surprise.

This game just has an amazing amount of depth for a Live Arcade game.

Best 1200 points I have EVER spent.

I would be very happy with it, if I didn't have to redownload the full version every time I wanted to play it. Sad [:(]

Re: Ok, how many of you are happy with your purchase?
I've just been playing for the last three hours (damn time flies by fast with this game) - and even if I stopped now and never played it again, it would still have been worth those measly 15 bucks :).

Since I've barely scratched the surface, I would happily have purchased Puzzle Quest even if it was a full price $100 game (yep, that's what most console games retail for here in Denmark on release - though of course that calculated number is a bit skewed with the currently horribly weak USD).
Sure, objectivly speaking the production values wouldn't justify a price like that, but I look at entertainment value when I decide if an game was worth the price or not - and it certainly looks like Puzzle Quest is first rate in that area.

Re: Ok, how many of you are happy with your purchase?

Very happy with my purchase and I know its early on but I would say this is prob the best value of an Arcade game Ive played most of the games only keep me interested for a day or two I can easily see myself playing this one for awhile.

I dont know much about PQ but it seems like this could be a nice series and I know Ive barely scratched the surface of this game but I can already see so many possiblities with this series on how it could be even bigger, better.
