why is it not letting me download the "Blue Monster"? it goes to 1% and then comes up with Cant Download Dorals "Blue Monster".

I have tried several times now to download with no success cmon EA sort it out

i can't get past one percent either

The download doesn't work?? What a shocker.

Now tonight instead of futile attempt after attempt to try and get some 4 player matches going online I can check every now and again to see if the download works.

This game rocks!

Mine took a while to download but its over 200 megs.  If you are having problems downloading then its your connection to xbox live.  MS controls all of the content (not EA) so it will download at whatever speed you're connected to XBL.  I have a fairly good connection, but it took about an hour this morning.

It is not our connections to Xbox Live, consider yourself lucky you downloaded it earlier.

Marketplace is just a big website that takes your MS points and grants you access to files.  So if you can't download, then its either your connection or its traffic.  The file is pretty big (as far as DLC is concerned,) so I would not be surprised if a lot of people downloading at the same time is causing a problem.

I hear ya.  Seems like a lot of that going around.  Good luck downloading.  I'm sure it will kick in soon.

Search for error code bought up this but it may not relate to xbox 360, perhaps someone more computer savvy than me would know.

Uh half the people trying to download it can't should be your first clue that its not there connections fault...

And then of course since I downloaded the Yaris Game to check my connection and it downloaded it about 6 seconds....

DLC comes direct from microsoft and has nothing to do with ea.  At what point in the download process do you see the "connecting to ea servers" message?

ok...for the last time the dlc was pulled for some reason or another.

I tried it this morning and got the same error code.  They should really consider taking this off the server since they know it doesn't work.  What free game should I pick from the list?  Is Kameo any good?

I called Xbox and they suggested calling EAs tech support.  He mentioned that it could be on their end.  I’m too lazy to look up their number, so I’ll let one of you call and read your response.  This is new enough that they don’t have a lot of information or any suggestions on how to make it work.  I would give it the weekend so the 9 to 5 people can look into it and see what is going on Monday morning.  Freaking out about it now is just going to make your blood pressure sky rocket, which could lead to a stroke, which could paralyze your left or right side, which would make it impossible to play Guitar Hero.  And no one wants to not be able to play Guitar Hero, right?  And you can't get a free Kameo, so don't embarrass yourself like I did and ask for one.

I dont know, I  dont have very many friends playing Xbox at 7 in the morning on a Saturday.  Maybe its the UK traffic messing it up for everyone, but I am guessing its not an overload problem.

   You may be right, I will try a few more time this weekend, if its not done by monday i will ring and have a rant about TW08 !!!.

I have just downloaded a couple of arcade games and they downloaded very quickly so i know my connection is ok.

 

Not much of a surprise that this game has another issue to add to their list. If anyone can hear this bring back LINKS and let us have a game that works as it's supposed to.

Same here, I downloaded the new track for Forza with no problem last night, but this one hangs up at 1%.  Didn't get a chance to try this morning before coming to work, hopefully tonight it's working, but I'd be willing to bet it'll be early in the week, bummer.  Guess I'll race Motegi instead. ;)

Do you think there's a slight chance that there are a heck of alot more people trying to download Doral than Yaris for the next few days? (not knocking Yaris but anytime there's something hot to download there is going to be congestion problems)-Watch what happens when there is a new download for halo3..
