Anyone download it yet? If so post a review!
It is sweet, it brings back some serious, serious memories.
The controller is a little clunky, but once you get used to it, it will be a blast to the past for many of you. Just the sounds alone...
Defenitely worth the 5 bucks.

You can choose 'Absolute Aim' in the control settings and have more accuracy with the spinner.
Just got done playing this before heading off to work, it was all I remembered, all I thought it would be, they did as good with it as they could've, IMHO. Very good translation of a classic, I'll be playing it a lot.

Lone Bunny wrote:This is a HUGE disappointment. Here's my two cents:The hype released last year stated there would be other "updated" versions of the game as well as the arcade classic. Well, there is only the classic, and the port stinks. The sound is WAY glitchy. In only 5 minutes of play, I noticed at least a dozen really bad sound glitches. The controls are slow and sloppy. The old game, which I did get a chance to play recently, so I'm not just remembering something from over 20 years ago, had an extremely smooth and fast trigger. It makes a difference when entering the MCP Cone or battling tanks.I mistakenly thought the dual sticks on the 360 controller would make an excellent choice for the joystick/spinner combo on the original game. The left stick is very twitchy, and the the spinner is dog slow. The arcade spinner was so fast that it took some getting used to. The right stick as the spinner moves so slowly that I see little way anyone will be able to get that real feel back.OK, granted, it was only 400 points, so it's not like I spent a lot on this game. Still, for a simple port that was delayed by nearly a year, I have to wonder what the game studio was thinking. TRON may not be the biggest hit of all times and may not get the backing of other larger hits, but I think this representation is weak at best. I've played better MAME ports on PCs with the controls mapped to the keyboard. I'd give this a 2 out of 5.

Um, usually for a person to comment on a game , they play it first, this game is NOT in your list of played games.... so PLEASE stop trolling....

It isn't point and shoot with the right-analog like Mutant Storm or Geometry Wars...
Yeah I remember how it was with the dial but it doesn't do it in single player only multi. You're supposed to be able to aim not just rotate the gun around nonstop.

FYI. Played games no longer display if someone has played the trial version of an Xbox Live Arcade game. Only those who have purchased the game will now show the game on their played games list. This is something the community itself asked for.
Will need to try this game for myself later today to see what it is like.
OzzyMoto wrote:Hey Guys -- just noticed that you can change the controls so that the right-analog acts more like Geometry Wars (aim and shoot) -- and it is super fast (no more dog slow here).Check it out!!
Thanks for the tip! Is this available in the trial?
I'm not finding this option. There are 4 control schemes from what I can tell, the first 2 switching aim and move between the left or right analog, then the other 2 are the same but it says absolute aim, whatever that means. I can't tell any difference between regular aim and this absolute aim. In any case neither one allows shooting in the dirction you aim by only usning the analog stick. I still have to press RT to fire. What am I missing?
