OK it seems as if there ALOT of players listed that can't score very high. You NEED to get all of your stat points to get higher scores. IF you like online I suggest you try to practice as much as possible, that is the only way to be one of the best. Without those stat points you won't get much of a score. Id like to see more ppl playing online with thier stats. Another helpful hint is study the 'style' tutorial and learn where to hold it to get the steady style points. So if you get ur points and want a challenge, find me and I'll give ya one

- Try the style tutorial (style lesson then style practice) after you've gotten higher stats. (might be useless for most, as you probably know style if you have higher stats already)
- Most of the jumps in the game kick you about the same height (sort of) Having the higher stats let's you get the higher stylish trick score since you go the right height off the jump and can spin at the proper speed. A standard jump should get you 30,000 - 60,000 for most players.
- Spinning more does NOT equal more points. You can get 100,000 points on a double flip just as you can with a triple flip on a big jump, it's all about how you manipulate the thumbstick in conjunction with the trigger (look at the style adds up, look carefully at the style meter in
Rebel's vid..... a careful observer might notice as the style gets higher there are 'thresholds' , my theory from when i played this game was that as the yellow bars hits these, that's your cue to pull the trigger ever so slightly further down. i could be wrong but i've gotten 315,000 off the new zealand tent with that theory in practice)
- Rebel4Liberty = Grind high score god? prove me wrong

If you play the career mode to be no.1 then you max out your stats. Go for Legend if you want a good challenge.
also, max out balance. almost a must-have for combos.
You can get "ALMOST" all the STAT POINTS without being #1.
HIGH SCORE + MEDIA CHALLENGES = 3 skill points per level
EVENT 1, 2, 3, 4 = 3 skill points each
PRO 2 = 1 or 2 skill points each (forget the amount)
So basically by beating up to event 3 and all pro 2 challenges you can have 'close to full' stats. ( less 3 points that im pretty sure you get from event #4) I did this for my XBOX 360 boarder because i didn't want to take the time to do everything.
If you are starting a game now or halfway thru, i recommend beefing up on BALANCE, SWITCH and SPIN/ROTATION first, later on you can edit the 'BOARD POINTS' to even it out a bit more by adding to OLLIE and BIG AIR.
Yes, i wrote all that, yes, i am a certified 'Amped 2 nerd' Rebel were you on the forums when i made the algebra equation to figure out what score to get on each level , each high score, best trick, combo and media to come as close to 2.147 billion as possible? now that was bad.
