Also, I don't really see how adding Xbox Original downloads will help this game out. I mean, be it added via allowing backwards compatability, or being downloadable... someone still needs to write the code to make it backwards compatable.

I don't think it makes a difference. But alas, I think this is one of this things that just "isn't a priority" for the BC team =\

If the Xbox Originals service is profitable enough, they might keep on making games BC.

I'm sure the BC is already working their hardest. I remember reading that their goal "was to eventually make all games backwards-compatable". But like I said, the BC team is just that: a team. A team is limited. A team is made-up of people, not robots. So they have to pick and choose their battles.. and I have the feeling that MM3 is just one of those things that they didn't really prioritize =\
