If anybody would be willing to help me beat this insane puzzle that would be fabulous. I'm pretty sure that the fat guy needs to move the safe, but I can't get him over there

You're right, you have to get the fatty on the middle level to the right. 

Start with MR Esc getting on (left side), then an adult and child.  Adult gets off (child stays on).  Esc gets off (at top left), then fatty gets on and goes down.  Adult at bottom gets on (left), fatty gets off.  Adult at top right gets on with the kid.  Fatty gets on to right, adult and child get off (to right).  Esc gets on with adult and evens out the weight so that the fat man can get off on the 2nd level.

Excellent puzzle, btw, took me a bit to get it.  I even tried having 3 adults push the safe with no luck.  ;)
