Xbox version vs 360

I have Burnout Revenge for the original Xbox. It's a good looking and sounding game. It's widescreen, makes excelent use of surround sound. If I didn't have an HDTV I wouldn't be asking this. But is the 360 version worth getting if you already own the Xbox version?

I played the Demo, and was mighty impressed. The game looked a lot better running at a higher resolution. It also sounded better too. But the gameplay was the same. Still I really liked being able to see further down the road. If they made this game backwords compatible I wouldn't be asking this. But should I just go ahead and get the 360 version? What else does it offer besides a higher resolution?

Achievments, better online gameplay (not as laggy), and like you said, higher resolution.

Burnout Revenge is a great game and the 360 version is selling for $30 at a good store so it's not like you're spending a awful lot to get it. So my suggestion to you is that if you really REALLY like the game, then get the 360 version. If you just think that's it's a good game that you want to play every now and then, go ahead and hold off and get the 3rd Burnout.

i dont suppose itll ever be made compatible for the 360 seeing as there is a 360 version of it even though they should be the easiest to be made compatible.

Burnout 3 Takedown is compatible with the 360, it will also be available for download from the 4th of December.

Burnout Revenge is much better on the 360, the online game is enhanced with Takedown Triangles, and as the Burnout Revenge servers are closed on the original Xbox, the 360 version is the only way you can experience Burnout Revenge online.

Burnout - the first game in the series is also compatible on the 360, but Burnout 2: Point of impact isn't. If you want to join the campaign to get Burnout 2 on the 360 compatibility list please email: backcomp@microsoft.com ! Smile [:)]
