Signed. Got it just over a year ago. This game had some of the toughest missions I've ever played.

Signed. Beat everything on veteran a few days ago, Ive had this game for a few years but due to the fact I dont have money for a new game I was bored and was looking for something to do so I went and got my 1000 in both COD2  and COD4

I went outside once and let me tell you, the graphics aren't that great.

Signed....I'd done COD4 and COD5, so i thought i'd give COD2 a go because some people say its the hardest Call of Duty to complete....and it was very difficult in some places Angry [:@]  I think Hill 400 was pretty hard at the end where you had to take out the mortar's, then defend the bunker.

All done now though Big Smile [:D]

Re: 1000/1000 Veteran's Club
Completed it today...My thoughts on Veteran

- Much harder than CoD4. Could be because it was a longer campaign.  CoD4 only had about 3-4 TOUGH spots not including MHC.  CoD2 had many more "luck" areas really.

- All the areas people said would be difficult were, except Hill400 and the last mission.  Actually I found the first segments of the last mission very tough. Germans seem to keep popping out and have incredible aim LOL

- The silos and sniping missions were tough indeed.

- The kickback on these guns make it difficult

- If you are planning on doing CoD2 on Veteran prepare to die a lot. But the key is move slowly, methodically, and be patient. As you move up your teammates will move up as well, use this to your advantage.  Sometimes they will clear out areas for you.  Running in and gunning won't work.

YES Hill 400 the end was the ONLY part on that mission that I found hard...and clearing out those houses oh the nightmares LOL

You haven't even gotten all the achievements for 4, especially  Veteran so how you can you say it's easier?

Easy anser for you, I've beat CoD 2, 3, 4 and 5 both on veteran all I need are the online achievments, at the current moment I dont have internet up... Bills are to high, and I'm the only one working. My current G.S. is 7960, Trust me if I had internet right now I'd be online having fun but, for now I only have access to the net at work. Go to www.callofduty.com and look me up, you'll see that I havent played online for a while, Hence why I've been able to concentrate on beating Veteran. And online I always place within the top 3... And How can you even talk your Profile shows you dont even have CoD 5 yet, so you dont even have a place to be a critic...Happy Hunting..

TAKE IT EASY. I didn't know you had no internet.  I didn't even mention CoD5, and from what the majority of posters put up, they all said CoD2 Vet was harder.

No biggie, congrats on attaining all of them.

I finished this game on Veteran a couple weeks ago, and it only took me a couple days. CoD2 is definitely one of the best WWII shooters out there. :)
