Should I reset my rank now or just wait for the patch?     I dont see whats wrong with waiting because I really dont feel like loosing all my guns and everything like that.

u dont loose ur guns in multiplayer - its a glitch - i am using every weapon i havent unlocked yet becasue of it

If I were you, I would wait another couple weeks. If no patch, and you're at 990/1000 by then, consider resetting.

Note there is a workaround for the PFC achievement for those who haven't yet loaded R6V2.

1) Set up a new profile (or use an existing profile that hasn't played R6V1) and sign on that profile using the first controller (player 1).
2) Sign on your actual gamertag (the one you want the achievement for) using the second controller (player 2).
3) Load up the game and play split-screen Terrorist hunt missions.
4) Continue playing until you level up the player 2 character (the one with your actual gamertag) to Private First Class - Achievement Unlocked.

That workaround is only good for people who haven't yet started playing R6V2 ("haven't yet loaded..."). If you've already started it won't work.

Your only choices are to reset, or wait for the patch. I'd suggest the latter, for higher ranks.

I'm a captain at the moment and as soon as I get elite I'm resetting my rank for this achievement. It might actually work in my favour - it could be my secret weapon!

You won't lose all your guns, the weapons you have saved in the preset slots will still be there when your rank is reset, so you could still play with whatever 4 guns and pistols you like the most.

Yeah......that will help a lot.       Especially since the first thing i do after i buy a game is go look at the threads on xbox live.     Like most people i probably will hurry up and open and play the game instead of reading about it on here. Then ill come here and try to find out why i did not get the pfc achievment and then be pissed that people who get paid to make these games still cant get it right.  Its just a damn shame that you have to go to all this trouble after feeding these developers and their families and everytime you turn around.....they are apologizing for something else.

If you've just started perhaps consider resetting your rank.

anyone want to go infront of ubisoft and demand they give us our achievements?

And on the bright side at least it didnt turn out like GOW achievements im still waiting for all my 100 kill achievements

i would reset but im a LTC already and once im elite ill probably just reset............guess im going prestige again......never thought i would have this dilema again.lol.

I have found a work around i kept my elite and got the private first class achievement!!!!

The game's progress will be lost when you delete the saves, therefore you wont be Elite as this info wont be stored with your gamertag and when you boot the game up it will think it's the first time you have played

Yes.. That is why some achievments do no show a date. That means you aquired the achievment while you were not connected to XBL. But as soon as you sign in to XBL they register.

 

My apologies, I wasn't reading the instructions properly. Too early in the morn'.

I would rather stay as a PFC.  Once I have the Elite achievement, there's no reason to be a high rank. Fragging a bunch of Elites as a PFC is more entertainment!!

It really is. I was playing hostage rescue against a bunch of low seargants and stuff and just killed them all. There was one elite in there who went like 3/4. At the end, one of em asked my friend and I "why are you so good"

 

Funniest part is...we;re not. Or at least..i'm not. But i went 5/0 that match.

Disregard my earlier post your rank and story details are stored with your gamertag.

I dont understand why you have to delete Vegas 1 data? Also, what data do you delete for Vegas 2? The only ones i know are equipment templates and story checkpoints which wont matter for it! I'm trying to work out how to erase my story so i can do it on realistic first go to get the 75 points!
