Are the achievements harder/easier than Cars?
topic pretty much explains it. Are the achievements easier or more difficult than the original Cars game?

Re: Are the achievements harder/easier than Cars?
I have not played the original cars game yet. But as far as these ones are concerned they are pretty easy, just playing through the storyline will get you most of them. The wheel collecting one was a bit of a challenge for me with the last wheel being a pain to get to but otherwise I had no problem unlocking all of them while I played. It was fun as well, the story line is cute.

I don't care if it hurts, I wanna have control. I wanna perfect body, I wanna perfect soul...

a lot easier than Cars.  Nothing even close to the post card achievement in Cars.

Not trying to sound big headed or anything but I didnt really find the Postcards on cars very difficult using the video guide someone posted here. So this game is another easy 1000 is it?

Re: Are the achievements harder/easier than Cars?
This is exactly the question I was coming here to ask.  I got all 1,000 in Cars and wonder about this second game.  I used a video guide to find the postcards in Cars.  If nothing is as difficult as that in this second game, I'm signing up to play.  Big Smile [:D]

nah, the hidden objects in the second game are nothing compared to the first, don't worry about that. The most difficult parts were the monster truck driving as mater in my opinion. You have a turning radius of like 2.5 degrees on those freakin wheels, its unbelievably annoying in certain parts.

I don't think I have the patience to do another Cars game...the first one drove me crazy!

I'll quote and respond to myself ~ :P

I decided to play it afterall --- and what a BLAST!!!

After playing the first Cars game, Cars: Mater-Nation was actualy a much easier game.  The controls and dynamics were the same from the first game, so no new learning here.  The mini-games were much easier, there was a better navigation system in the game so you didn't roam for hours looking for what to do next to advance the storyline (like in the first Cars), and there was no postcard hunt (thank God).  I finished the game in one sitting (about 6 hours) from Friday night into early Saturday morning.

Easy (and enjoyable) 1K for other achievement/completion junkies out there!  :)

Enjoyed the first quite a bit (actually made me laugh) & enjoying the second one now. I am writing though to commend you on your Gamerscore. So many times you see high Gamescore's, check their card, and see all the dates missing which as we all know stinks of cheating. One or two here date-less achievements, it happens, especially to those of us who were here since Day 1 and had the Live drops without any notification. But when entire games or sets of games have missing dates, or the new trend, get just one, then game copy so you don't get banned, its sad. Rambling on now, but my point is congratulations - your Gamerscore / card is certainly impressive.

Gee...thanks!  I certainly do appreciate the kind words.  It's quite rare on the xbox forums to see someone actually being nice/paying compliments.

A toast to you, my friend!  Beer [B]

I understand what you are trying to say. I also have some games played completely offline and got all the achievements while playing offline. and I´ve got all original games. The thing is that actually it doesn´t have to be cheating or piracy involved, in my case, I used to have lots of connection problems because I live in a small town and also have another house where I usually go on vacations and I don´t have internet connection in there. The most important thing to find a cheater is to see if he has online achievements with no date. And if they have a date, to check how much time did it take him to get the achievements.

Back on topic, this is easier than the first cars.
