Seems I get killed the most from not being able to see the small asteroids because of very highly explosive asteroids.They cover quarter of the screen especially with multiple hits.They could of toned it down and kept it simple. They do this in all their redone games. Centipede had splater across the screen when hitting bugs distracting but playable. Missle Command had lightning bolts and the explosions in that were not that defined enough for me to see if other missle coming toward my cities would be hit from other explosions (chain reactions).

Agreed.  The explosions make Evolved mode unplayable in my opinion.

If it weren't for the fact that I love Asteroids Classic so much, I would be pretty upset with myself for buying this game.  Throttle Monkey is stupid, Deluxe is downright annoying, and Evolved isn't worth playing.  Lucky for me I still think the Classic game itself was worth the $5.

Wow am I glad I am not the only one who thinks the explosions are ridiculous! But I did download it purely for the classic version.. however I wish it would be toned down a bit!

Outrageous explosions sounds good.
