I don't think so. They should have it tho. Like advance wars on GBA.

Are there any plans to patch the game to allow several people to play a local game with just one controller.
For a turn based game passing the controller isnt a problem. Im surprised it wasnt supported from the start.

I used my RB guitar controller... it was especially difficult as the whammy bar is the right joystick always pushed to the left so you have to hold it halfway down to see center.

I just bought Carcassonne to my xbox hoping I could play it with my friends locally. Now that I seem to need to have controllers for every person I feel a bit dissapointed. Couldn't this be easily fixed?

Buy 2 more controllers.  They really aren't that expensive, check used at Gamestop.  I have 4 controllers for my living room 360 and 2 for the one in the bedroom.

I do agree, that since this game is totally turn based, there is no good reason that you can't opt to play from a single controller.  The only downside is multiple accounts can't sign in on the same controller and thus couldn't get any achivos.
