There were a couple in the thread titled "Blueprint Buddies *Official List*".  Can't remember their names though.  Also they told everyone that they were, but I don't know if they were telling the truth.  Just skim through the thread, you'll find them.  They talked about helping people with the achievements.

ok im a EA Mod
 
i am willing to help anyone get this achievement but the only issue is that im in AUS and im basically for e.g 11 hours infront of the UK ppl and 15 to 17 hours infront of the US ppl
 
i have recieved msgs from a few of u already and l'll just say to those ppl, plz be patient as its hard bc of our time differences
 
i will get to u all as soon as i can

Man I was playing this game the other night and a MOD was racing with us. Here is the part that pissed me off . If the SOB wasn't winning he would not finish the race and you only get it if the MOD finishes.

i dont know who it was but i basically invite ppl into my race day, click on grip bc its a 45sec lap, let u win and u have the achievement
 
i try my best to help everyone out..i have a filled up msg box with requests for this achievement and i constantly check to see if ur online at that time, if i see that u are online i will send u a msg and invite u in to my raceday
 
enjoy ppl and thx for not bombing me with msgs
 
btw plz dont try n send me friends requests as my list is maxed out

That's because he lied to you. He wasn't a Mod. And you do get the achievement regardless of wether the Mod finishes or not. In fact, if the Mod DNFs, everyone who DNFs with him gets it. All you have to do is beat the Mod. You don't need to be first, he can DNF or come in second, come in last, come fifth, as long as you beat the Mod, your good. The only way you won't get it is if the Mod DCs.

Oh yeah. I might as well mention that I'm game. So bring it!
