Bug with Guitar Hero guitars?

If I have a Guitar Hero guitar plugged into one of the USB ports on the 360, the main menu in Mutant Store Empire constantly cycles through different selections while the guitars are plugged in.  If I unplug the guitars, the menu is back to normal.  If I plug a guitar back in, the menu goes back to cycling again.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Yeah, I know the issue. You are using a guitar controller for a game that was designed for the XBOX 360 controller.

Wow, very funny -- and helpful.  Thanks for the insightful input. Perhaps I should clarify for slow people:

I keep my Guitar Hero guitars plugged in so I can use them whenever I play Guitar Hero.  When I feel like playing Mutant Storm Empire, while trying to start a game using the Xbox 360 controller, the menu constantly cycles, not allowing me to start a game until the Guitar Hero guitars are unplugged.

Seriously dude.. I wasn't trying to be jerk about it. The guitars functions are set up a bit different than the controllers. MSE probably sees the guitar as something else and when it's running code... it's acting funny.
