Heard ruoumers about a olympics game coming out for Beijing 2008, wonder if it will be more fun than track and field.

I'm hoping that Microsoft soon will release more games to live arcade like track and field, there is another one called hypersports and then you also have the epyx series of summer, winter and worldgames.

Sorry to revive an older thread but how do these games compare?  Is Beijing as fun as Track & Field?  I almost bought Beijing right when it came out just because of the good memories I had of Track & Field on the NES.

Track and Field was a great game but compared to Beijing it shows its age

6 events Vs 36 events - lets be honest T&F gets very boring with a number of extra lives bulit up
8 player multi
Heptathlon and decathlon
4 swimming events
12 running events
14 field events....etc
NO TURBO PADS

plus you can always get a game if you wait 5 mins unlike track and field where you can wait forever and still not get a game.

I remember once my bro came round my house and said why are you watching swimming !!!

Thats how sweet the graphics are....or thats how much my brother needs glasses.
