Speaking of better communication in COD3.  You will notice that I don't talk much anymore.  That's because the only time I play now is when I'm putting my daughter down for her naps -  can't talk or she will wake up.

It's been a while since I've been on the forum due to noobs.I agree with everything you have ever said about COD3.COD4 and 5 have been dumbed down for the Halo generation as I have mentioned various times in my wapred bios.No skill is needed for perkomania.They didn't have flak jackets in WW2 or Clint Eastwood type Magnums with dodgey telescopic sights on.Activision as I mentioned on their forums sold out big time.COD 5 has nice graphs.Jap campaign is pointless garbage.Russian campaign fun for five mins.Zombies is the only thing to redeem it.Oh yes, the after thought tanks that don't blow up after two Bazooka rounds and countless grenades, not to mention Treyarch cant be bothered to games test hence the countless glitches in all their games.All they had to do was keep the multiplayer from 3,graphs of 5 and the single player of 2.Not much to ask is it Treyarch?Enough ranting, I've said all this a million times and get tired of noobs on line who haven't a clue.Sick of playing the same maps as the kids won't buy the others and some of the ego maniacs in the top 20 who spout garbage.Let it be said the best players allways were and are as follows,Beanie420,Rambo,Paleface, end of story.Though I think snipers should be removed in every game as I have never had respect for noobs who just sit back and pick off people running for the falg or whatever.One of my friends suggested they should have COD3 radio on the net with samples of the rantings in the lobbies and the game on air.A lot of the hate is to do with team punishing and haveing the achievements in the multi.I salute your efforts sir in getting the masses to listen and hope you keep up the good work.THE H0WLER...............

But in all seriousness, I agree the new CoDs have been dumbed down for the masses. So hopefully the new Call of Duty arcade game will be just like CoD3 with no perks, kill streaks, dogs etc... and I hope its got a good number of players online.

And those players you mentioned, ive played this game since launch, and never heard of them, did they play ranked or player matches, and do they still play ?

Beanie420 probably has not played 3 for two years and isn't on my friend list so who knows?Paleface is in the top 20 and has played from year dot.I have played it for three years and it's driven me insane!It will also depend what part of the world you come from as due to the time zones it depends who you play, for example I'm from the U.K. so don't play Australians much as they're on in the afternoon when I'm working or 4am etc.I've pretty much played em all and unfortunately as I have said some of em have huge egos.I'm convinced some of em have modified machines and pads due to the fact they can fire more rounds at a faster rate than anyone else and never have a bad game.Even the very best have bad games.I would like to know why microsoft don't do something about cheating noobs like that?You ever see people that dont have to wait before they respawn in cod3?There's so many things in that game involving glithces it's unreal.I look forward to COD arcade and hope it dosen't suck like Battlefield 1943!!!!!!!!HOWLER...........

BF 43 is one of the best games Ive played (much better than COD 4/WaW).  Intense, chaotic, immersive.  Smooth gameplay, fluid, tight controls, 24 players online, 3 huge maps and 3 balanced classes.  I dont see how it sucked.  What were you really expecting for $15?

Ive played people with modded controllers, not so much in CoD3 bit more in WaW, its fekcing annoying.
If you've ever played against some g@y little kid in CoD3 called graysoap, he's got a modded controller, he's just an all round g@y boy really.

When you say their firing off more rounds, they might have a mod controller, or it might just be lag, with them being in Australia, the worst connection wins

I think the glitches are really fun, especially the laggy ones.

Planes?Is it balanced that every noob gets in a plane and just shoots people from the sky?It detracts from the FPS experience. Planes are nooby?  If thats true then anyone can get in a plane and do good.  Most of the time when I see an unexperienced pilot get in a plane they crash in 5 seconds.  Noobs wouldnt be able to pick people off on the ground from the sky, those are the expericened pilots.

What sort of Bazooka do you use then?I think 15 rifle grenades is far fetched.

The animation is simplistic and I'm talking about the fact when someone is not even aiming at you properly and you shot them first but you die in regard to kill cam, thought that's probably garbage connections.

Face it, planes shouldn't be in a FPS. I'm guessing you're getting excited about controlling the air strike plane in Modern Warfare 2?

Im using the one with the Infantry class.  2-3 shots in the back of a tank takes it out sides and fronts will obviously take more since that is where the armor is at, and yes it is 15 Rifle Grenades, I tested it out when I first got the game.  A full health tank will be destroyed by 15 RG, any less the tank was already weak.  Dont believe me, go into the tutorial with the Rifleman kit go up to a tank and fire all your RG into the back of the tank.  Same with the bazooka

COD series is going downhill, and I personally am not a fan of the new direction.  KSR and perks just ruined what COD was all about.  And this is BF where vehicles have always been a part of the game.  Just want basic Infantry, COD, Gears, Vegas, 007, TF2 are all for you then.

Me too; however, Treyarch doesn't support their games once released - it's horrible and ruins their rep.  COD3 is great, but they did nothing to fix glitches - the same glitchs are still present.  They are doing the same thing with CODWaW.

Now I only play COD3.  The only problem is that now it is filled with foreign connections (lag), mod controllers and a lot of the people are using glitches such as invincibility.  Even with all of this it is better than COD4/CODWaW.  The multiplayer online gaming as a great feel, more realism and epic battles.

thats because I think people played for fun and not some stupid rank or to unlock the next gun that has the same stats as the one theyre using.  COD has turned into a joke imo.  This was the last good one.  Kinda disgusted by it really at what COD has become in the last 2 years.

I fully agree, its been dummed down for the masses IMO.
The thing that makes it even worser is k/d ratios, and as you say stats, which mean absolutely NOTHING.

But saying that I am actually looking forward to MW2 and I will certainly give it a go, but I wont be surprised if I return to CoD3 a week later.

Im not looking forward to the new one, but I will def give it a try and bum it off my brother lol for the campaign.  will see how the MP is.  If they put in a barebones i may play it more but idk, doubt it.

CoD4 was a letdown for many old school Call of Duty players. I didn't like it at first because it was nothing like 3, but I realized that I didn't like 3 at first because it was nothing like 2. First of all, I must say COD4 is an awesome game (just my opinion) but I by far prefer COD3 for many reasons. Theres less spraying online in COD3, therefore it takes more skill to kill people and there is generally a more team feel which I felt wasn't as strong in COD4. I think perks are a cool idea but the amount of times I've killed people and the nades have dropped killing me, is just annoying, theres no skill in that. COD3 campaign was great on veteran, was challenging at first but then when you get use to it, you could complete it after awhile. A great story and a fantastic game.
