Fatal Inertia Achievement Guide

Here is my first AG. Let me know what you think, all 10 of you FI playersWink [;)]

FATAL INERTIA:

50 Achievements

47 Achievements Unlockable in Single Player

3 Achievements Unlockable in Multi-Player

ACHIEVEMENTS  GAINED  IN  COMBAT

Snag Opponenet- Using primary and secondary fire, tether an opponent to the ground using the cable. (10G)

To get this achievement, use the cable's PRIMARY fire (RB) to grab an opponent. Then use the secondary fire (LB) spike to shoot into the ground. The opponent is stuck. *PLINK*! Achievement Unlocked.

Smokescreen Master- Catch all 7 opponenets in one Smoke Bomb. (20G)

I hate this one. The smoke missile looks like a kuckle duster. Use it's secondry fire (LB) to shoot a James Bond-esque smokescreen behind you. The hard part is timing it right. DO this as close to the start as possible, so the 3-5 seconds of smoke are not wasted.

Destroy An Opponent- Blow up another racer (10G)

You need to persistent. Keep shooting. The orange nukes are very powerful. Keep launching magnets and rockets and they'll fall. You may be better off targeting an Aurora ship first.

Connect Two Opponents- Using the cable, tie two opponents together (10G)

Hilarious when done right, like the other cable achievement. Basically, primary fire (RB) both ends of the cable into another racer. Then watch them attempt to accelerate. Simple.

Remove By Rolling- Remove a magnet or a rocket by using a barrel roll (10G)

When a magnet gets stuck to you, use a barrel roll (Double tap R or L trigger) and shake it off.

Remove Magnets- Using a single brake-boost, remove 10 magnets attatched to your craft.

Magnet Mayhem is your best bet.

Remove Rockets- Using a single brake boost, remove a rocket attatched to your craft (10G)

It's waiting for someone to actually shoot a rocket that's annoying. *** 1 player, do it in 2-player instead. It's a helluva lot easier.

Destructor- Destroy 3 opponents in one event (20G)

Thrice as hard as Destroy An Opponenet.

Destructor II- Destroy 7 opponenets in one event

Hahaha...good luck. Still, persistence is key. Failing that, get two controllers, and make sure P1 keeps blowing the crap out of the non-moving P2. Good luck, Achievement w***e.

ACHIEVEMENTS  GAINED BY  RACING

Try All Tracks-  Complete an event on all 51 tracks (30G)

You don't HAVE to win. Just get to the end, still mobile.

Velocity Au Naturel- Finish a Velocity race without using powerups (No secondary fire allowed) (20G)

Holy s**t, that's tough. You have be an Aurora Jedi to stand any chance of victory. No using Rockets or Orange nukes for boost, either!

I'm Better Than You- Win a splitscreen race (10G)

Reeeeeeally easy. Two controllers, keep one still, then win the race as P1. Then get P2 to bring up the rear. Ten points!

50 Second Time Trial- Complete a Time Trial in under 50 seconds (10G)

I recommend Lost Canyon; Course 1; Aurora Class. You SHOULD do a lap in under 13 seconds.

36 Second Time Trial- Complete a Time Trial in under 36 seconds (20G)

Ouch, that's fast. Pitch it hard, brake boost early, and take that risk if you wanna win!

Show-off- Lap everyone else in one event (20G)

This seems easier than it is. Take some time upgrading your craft first, otherwise you'll be scarping out seconds instead of lazily gliding over the line 2 minutes before anyoe else.

Speed Demon- Accelerate to 750km.h (469 mph). DOES NOT INCLUDE DURING TIME DILATION (10G)

Again, you'll need some upgrades here. I reached 373mph with no upgrades, and as stated above: Time Dilation (Everything goes black & white and you speed up while They slow down) doesn't count.

Speed Demon II- Accelerate to 900km/h (563 mph)

Same as above, just with mopre speed.

Perfect Start- Use Brake-Boost to get a speedy start (10G)

When the race starts, hold A+X at '2'. It should be about top at 'Go!'. Release at the right time for a great start.

Xbox LIVE Novice- Win an event on Xbox LIVE (20G)

Go on, you can do it!

Xbox LIVE Master- Win 50 Events on Xbox LIVE (40G)

This shouldn't have to be explained.

ACHIEVEMENTS REQUIRING ACCUMILATION

600 Combat Points- Score 600 CP in a single event (10G)

Easy as shooting a load of aircraft. Laying mines ramps up the totalizer.

1000 Combat Points- Score 1000 Combat Points in a single event (20G)

As above. Just do it again. Harder.

50 Wins- Win 50 Events (20G)

...

100 Wins- Win 100 Events (30G)

Oh, for fu...I'm not explaining this.

200 Wins- Win 200 Events (40G)

Surely you're bored of it by now? Just keep plugging away...

Mercury Master- Win 10 races with a Mercury Class Craft (10G)

Choose a Mercury for the first two Series' then do the rest in Quick race. You'll do it in no time.

Aurora Master- Win 10 races with an Aurora Class Craft (10G)

Same as before. With the thin ships.

Phoenix Master- Win 10 races with a Phoenix Class Craft (10G)

Use the ships with the red birdy emblem.

Titan Master- Win 10 races with a Titan Class Craft (10G)

Use those f**king massive ships.

Velocity Master- Win 20 Velocity Events

And try to get Velocity Au Naturel in one of them.

Knockout Master- Win 20 Knockout Events (20G)

This can help you to get a Craft Master achievement.

Combat Race Master- Win 20 Combat Races (20G)

See above.

Magnet Mayhem Master- Win 20 Magnet Mayhem Events (20G)

Can help you get the Remove Magnets achievement.

Re: Fatal Inertia Achievement Guide

Many apologies, I missed out 'Perfectionist', I believe.

You must win every race in the career, for 40G.
