Looks like theres a lot of confusion about the demo. Here are the official details from Capcom (in other words if it isn't listed here then they haven't said it's a detail of the demo ex. such as the timer some people keep talking about):

- It will feature multiple locales throughout the demo (essentially small portions of several levels from the full game.)

- A tutorial will be provided during the game regarding all the new features, such as Nero's devil bringer and the Exceed system.

- After you've toured the locales the player will get to engage in a boss fight with Berial (big firey centaur type demon that you've seen in all the videos).

- The demo is going to be up at 2 AM PST on Marketplace.

Hope that cleared up any confusion and hopefully people have a look at this before they start asking about random details. Not sure how much it will help though since the demo's out tomorow hahha.

Almost forgot:

- Nero will be the only playable character in the demo (the reasoning behind this is to familiarize the player with the Devil Bringer.)

Oh right and it's January the 24th...aka. TOMORROW.

Of course I'm sure you all know that though hehe.

It's actually quite different. It's not just one area, it's actually a compilation of several areas and its nero only. Also it lacks a timer. Mostly I posted this because of the confusion over the details as to what would be in it.

The demo does have a timer. Also there are some more details missing. The demo is coming in two different levels.

Exterminator and Extermination.

One of them starts you out in Fortuna and you can slowly work your wayb to the Bariel fight and I believe it stops you there. But the other mode only gives you 10 minutes to play it and if you make it to the level fast enough you get to fight Bariel. Theres also a secret mission in the demo.

Regardless, I think the point is to familiarize ourselves with Nero's basic moves. I'm actually happy about this because I want to learn how to use his moves correctly instead of bashing all over the place looking like an idiot. It'd just be better for me to have some experience using Nero so I can kick Dante's *** in the tutorial and just be on my marry way through the game. 'Cuz when I get to Dante, I'll know how to use him for the most part, aside from the new weapons. I'm so excited about this game!

the final version of the game is going to be 20 levels. 10 with dante from beginning to end (1-10) and then nero but from the end of the game to the beginning (10-1) which really doesnt make any sense but i still cant wait for it

There are 22 Missions and the first 12 Missions are Nero and Dante becomes playable on Mission 13 and you will go through and complete the game with him. You play as Nero through 60% of the game and Dante finishes the remaining 40%

PSN in the UK doesn't get it till the 31st. PSN everywhere else gets it today just after noon PST (can't remember the exact time).

And whoever posted that I didn't mention the timer, it's beacuse the mode with the timer is the tutorial essentially. It's meant the familiarize the player with Nero before diving into the Executioner mode where you'll go to different locales and fight Berial. Bad wording on my part haha.

I only got to play 4 of the 10 mins this morning....had to go because I had class. Probly won't get to play it until tomorrow morning.
