Depressing mediocrity at its finest

I don't know about you guys, but aren't those games that are "OK", but not necissarily bad just plain-out depressing? I mean, it's just... OK. Nothing much past that. Does anyone else find that depressing?

I don't mind really bad games, because I'd much rather be face-palming than just playing a game like one of these.

Why are mediocre games so depressing? =[

This is a title that my wife and daughter downloaded and I'm only playing today for the first time. I have to say, after weeks of nothing but Devil May Cry 4, this change of pace is most welcome!

At first I thought it was bad. I even deleted from my HD. But I decided to redownload because I had paid for it. Might as well give it a go again. And I must say, I like it better. I don't know if I will get to 200 but I find that this game takes a while to get used to. This game requires a certain finesse balancing one joystick with the other.

Sir Gregor: That's the thing. It's just "OK"; it's a game that you have to try and willingly love, rather than have you go "OMFG this is awesome!". And cosidering it's price, I don't think that makes it any better >_>

It makes me want to kry.
