11 years ago, the birth of Turok on video game consoles were born. Now today the new Turok is better than ever reborn.

Now in celebration of the release of this new Turok game, I think it would be wonderful if Microsoft provides a xbox live arcade version of the original Turok.

Turok dinosaur hunter was released on n64 and pc as well.

Also there was no multiplayer on Turok Dinosaur hunter.

 

Who's with me? Can we get someone here to talk to microsoft about doing this?

That would be cool, I would play it. That would mean that I don't have to hook up the 64 every time I want to play. That game was one of the best ones that I ever played, even though it took me forever to get used to moving with the d-pad and aiming with the joystick. The only thing I hated about that game was how quickly the enemies respawned. It seemed like I would have to kill the same things over and over again while searching an area. I would like to see its return.

Dinosaur Hunter with Achievements? I'm in.

So I wrote this a few days ago. At that chat thing with the develoeprs, did anyone ask about the original turok on Xbla?

The original Turok was published by Aklaim(?). I don't even know if they develop games anymore, or if Touchstone or Propaganda acquired the rights to not only the Turok name, but the prior games back catalog. In that case, Touchstone might not be able to release the N64 Turok games on XBL.

They need to put up all of the originals (including Rage Wars)... Turok 1, 2, and 3... Especially 3... Only 3... Nah, lets just do all of them. I need my Cerebral Bore.

The neighbor and I were just talking about pull the N64 out to play through the original and sequels again. If it was available for XBLA I'd buy them in a second. I glad to see I'm not the only one that misses the Cerebral Bore. What a sound and what a way to go... brrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!

It looks like this forum went dead along time ago but for what it's worth. Turok Dinosaur Hunter was the first realy great FPS and should be made available for all die hard retro game lovers to enjoy on the XBL arcade. What may hold it back is lack of interest (god forbid), but more likely the red tape on who now owns the publishing rights. Accliam is gone and I don't know if Iguana still exists and who may own their games now.
