RB6: VEGAS 2 FAQ

Release date:

US- March 18th

Europe- March 21st

Australia- March 14th

   Compaign/Main Facts and FEATURES

  • Your teamates Jung and Michael will retrurn, but not Logan. Ubisoft will let you create and customize your own character for the single player compaign this time.
  • "Every cutscene will be interactive one through your eyes." "We want all the moral and physical struggles that the real(elite operatives) face."
  • Vegas 2 is actually a sequal and pre-equal, the action will begin even before the very first RB6: Vegas, from then it will be parallel to when logan was in Mexico and then run concurently with casiono crawling exploits.
  • Expect to fight almost everywhere, and fight more outside this time. The developers said that you will fight almost all around the city, the outside city limits entirely. Also, be prepared to see the sunrise and sunset.
  • Better graphics in terms of improved lighting and shaws and smoother framerate. The developer also said that the graphics look really good even in multiplayer.
  • The Persistent Elite Creation(P.E.C) will return as I mention above, and its much deeper. In addition, the PEC is evolving in the way you probably wouldn't expect.
  • The scoring kills and accomplishments will be similar to COD 4's.
  • Your actions in solo play/compaign rewards too. Its called A.C.E.S system:
Your EP points rewards break down into 3 categories:
    1. Close-Qarters, fighting in the close combat and earning points, it will reward you with CBQ points and you can unlock weapons like new shotguns
    2. Marksmanship, this is for snipers, headshots can earn you lots of points, and those points will award you with new long ranged rifles.
    3. Assault, for those who prefer to use many shots will score points to earn new SMGs and etc.

You will also score points from your friend's objective accomplishment's and vise versa.
  • The developers admit that they didn't really have the proper military outfits in 1st Vegas, Therien laments and that limitation should be rectified for Vegas 2.
  • Sprint Button in confirmed for compaign, they didn't say anything about the multiplayer though.
  • There will be bullet penetration(for the compaign, not sure about the online).
  • You're character will advance no matter what you do, which means you can rank up while playing singleplayer compaign or a multiplayer match, so if you complete the compaign on singleplayter or regardless, you won't be starting from scratch, samething goes for multiplayer, your gear will also apply to the single player compaign.
  • On the multiplayer co-op, you and your friend(s) will get the same experience as you would get playing the single player compaign, unlike in the first Vegas.
  • In co-op, player 2 will be suit up Knight, while players three and four will always be Walter and Jung, and player 1(the host) is Bishop and he commands them, this set up also lets to have people at three places at once.
  • In co-op, you can jump in the game and jump out and in, means, you can start a solo game, and your buddy can come in and when he leaves you can still continue playing on where you are left off.

MORE ON MULTIPLAYER:
  • 11 new weapons, including M16
  • 13 total maps, including some classic levels as far back from RB63: RS expansion pack for PC
  • 2 new game modes:

Demolition- like Search and Destroy in COD 4, the objective of attacking team is to plant a bomp on a specific traget and make sure it sets off, for defending team is to prevent that from happening and if its planted, to next objective is to defuse it

Team Leader- both teams have VIPs, each objection is to kill the VIP, if the VIP of either team is killed, the team without the VIP won't respawn anymore. VIPs also have extraction points.

  • The ability to join games in progress
  • Improved Terrorist Hunt: palyer respawns are avaible and the terrorist will respawn more fairly(they shouldn't pop behind you anymore)
  • You can now invite your friends into ranked sessions online
  • The radar on upperhand corner of your screen has been removed, instead, you get a thermal scan, which brings up a similar picture-in-picture view of the battlefield as the traditional radar but you won't know which bodies are enemies and which are friendly, you'll just know where they're located on the map and only for a short time
  • Like I said in the main facts, you will rank up in the same paste of multiplayer as you will in single player, means that if you make your progress through single player, it will transfer to multiplayer when you play it or vise versa
  • Shotguns and Light Machine guns will be improved, shotguns will be more reliable(instead of one shot miss and die) and Light Machine guns will be more controllable

More About the Game/Franchise:

  • DLC isn't announced, but there's a good chance it wil be there
  • This is the last Vegas game, next RB6 will be elsewhere
  • The developers aren't sure where the next RB6 will be, but they said they like to put it in the areas where people feel safe, New York City, London or other areas of course. So if you want your favorite city to have mayhem, better cross your fingers
  • The last RB6: Vegas, the developers admit that single player was almost none-existant, this time he said it will be about 50/50
  • On next RB6, the developers want to improve co-op, bring more areas to explore, pushing eperiences more, more choices,  and more

Hope you guys enjoyed this FAQ!

This information has been posted numerous times, but still, nice FAQ. As far as factual errors go, the only thing I could find was that you stated the M16 would be in the game. I'm pretty sure that weapon has not be included in Vegas 2. You might be mistaking the M468 for the M16
I fed my 360 to my dog. Now he has the three red lights in his eyes. What can I do?

In Xbox Magazine last month (or was it the month before? Can't remember) they said that there would be an "M16 equivalent". Probably just an innocent misunderstanding. Smile [:)]

Your FAQ says that you can invite friends to ranked matches; I thought they confirmed that this can't be done. If it can, then that's a great plus~

Why no M4 and M16A2.

Those are really good weapons.

The M4 fits the best.

Yeah you can now.

But the host can no longer kick players, force them to change teams and something else.

Pretty nifty.

That's sweet. But since there's no matchmaking, wouldn't that promote boosting?

Nevermind because you can't boot players, and therefore public players could still join. I was originally disappointed because of the no matchmaking. But I don't really need that as long as I can invite friends to ranked matches~

Colt would not give them permission to use the weapons in the game. This being done they can't use them intill Colt allows it so even if everyone in the world begs for them to be in and Colt says no then they wont be in it.

The M468 will be a good replacement in there places

But its in COD4?

Thats stupid.

The M4 would look awesome in 3rd person.

Yeah, I posted this because I seen no FAQ with a pin, so I though I could go for it. As far as M16 goes, who ever said about OXM "M16 equivelent" he is right, yes I mistaken it, and I could have posted more info about weapons and etc, but I could not verify the source that had it untill the edit option expired, and the damn moderator want respond to my request to edit.

just looked up m468 on google and the gun looks really good. this also means that ubisoft have the barrett license so they could put the .50 cal sniper in Big Smile [:D]          good faq too.

Thanks, but about the 50 cal. I'm not sure if thats possible, I think the gun is more likely for military action, because if you are not well set up, it can blow you back like 6 feet, I think those 11 anounced weapons are most likely final but I'm not the developer so they can add extra.

Yeah, I want more pistols added too, do you know any pistols that can match the stopping power of Raging Bull or Desert Eagle that can be used today?

i think magnum revolvers are fairly powerful. also, they could include the baby eagle ( is a real gun) which could be unlocked earlier than the desert eagle. another thing, the glock should be more powerful than it actually is on rs:v1 because it is a very good pistol
