Temple of Enlightenment Boss

Has anyone beaten this guy? I'm finding it pretty tricky, i can get past the first bit (That blue thing, not sure what its called) quite easily, but when he summons the other two sorcerers it becomes pretty hectic, i've managed to take one down, but by this point i'm always in quite a bit of trouble with a couple of characters ko'd and the ones remaining being on low health, and get wiped out eventually by the mega move that one of the sorcerers does, anyone got any tips? Thanks.

I can't remember how I beat him but most of the time, the tactics are the same.

Use All-Barricadus to raise Magic Defense, All-Regenerus to ensure HP recovery every turn. If you have Divide, you can try using it on him. I was on Lv90 when I defeated him though.

You can equip your characters with the Persistence skill to keep them alive once (per life/resurrect) at 1 HP when their HP depletes. Absorb Magic is also useful as magic attacks from enemies can sometimes replenish your HP.

This guy immediately takes positive magic effects off your party though by using a move called Delete (Or something along those lines), three of my characters have persistance too but still no joy really, i'm around level 70 at the moment, might have to come back later on i think, how did you get to level 90 by the way? I'm not getting that much exp from the TOE encounters anymore so am just wondering what other places there are with more difficult monsters.

Then you have to rely on the brute strength of Kaim and Seth Smile [:)] Use Combo. Also, you can use Double-Cast for Ming and Sarah to give the fella a taste of multiple Divide.

The twin-dark kelolons in the deeper parts of the ToE will help you get to Lvl 99. Only the ones who have above 20,000 HP, not the 16,000 HP ones.

I thought it was hard the first time but after thinking about  it's an easy boss. I was at around level 70 for all my character Kaim had about 7k HP....  I had to gamble but i kept two character at low HP's (kaim&Seth) , so they can use Reversa. i had sarah, ming and mack heal(dont heal all the way) or if my charcter die had them revive them have just Kaim and Seth use Reversa. i use duel spell so i get about 10k(2x5k) from kaim and 6k(2x3k) from Seth it ended the battle quick. The good thing about Reversa is no matter if the enemy is in the front or back they'll still get the same amount of damage. I kill the main boss first than the two in the front.

Reversa

  • MP: 35
  • Effect: Inflicts damage on one enemy based on the HP the caster has lost

that hint about the REVERSA helped me out alot!

my party was Kaim (level 68), Mack (level 47), Ming (level 68), Cooke (level 53), and Sarah (level 68).

just let a few characters with the highest hitpoints get low, then blast away with the REVERSA spell! Kaim was doing 5500 hps of dmg. per cast. after the big guy dies, the other two cronies are gravy!

Or you can just get "Ultimate Hit" by weaking them then just use the attack. It ignores GC and destroys it reagardless and does massive damage to everything. Using the King sword (The most strongest sword in the game) on Kaim and give him Ultimate hit and @ 80+ it can do 13k+. By the way the Hellish Kelolons can take you to level 100.

I used the slayer ring on the second of the two summoned sorcerers.  They'll continute to 'Sacrifice Self' for the entire battle unless you kill them.  My group was 55+ Kaim and Seth 65+, and I didn't have any fancy spells like the guys above, but if you use All Generata and Resurrect and the Slayer Ring you'll get lucky.

I beat him at about 75 for everyone. Though my guys were pretty beastly. Kaim is already maxed out at 9999 and I have both Ming and Sarah at 999MP. I had Kaim equip with The Age of Kings and Seth with the Gravity Rave. They both also had Lv3 complex rings (Sun Ring and Comet Ring). So each one dealt a few thousand per hit. What was real helpful was that Ming and Sarah knew double cast. With that they both could do 6000+ per turn. I didnt really try to help Mack at all, he did I couple of support spells, but if when he died I just left him there. Absorb Magic is a real good thing to have as well as the General's Pen (nullifies formation change).

I beat him my first try. I had Kaim and Seth in there low 60's, Sed and Jansen in the high 50's and little mack at lvl 41. Kaim had his best sword the durandal or how ever its spelled, Seth with the her best sword. I had them in front and had the other 3 in back. I would have lost however if the sorcerers move that heals the other one to full health haddent mist. Then the main sorcerer Fu was left by him self. I then used Sed's magic seal skill to cut off his magic to sumon any more and just kept hitting him till he died. I would watch out for his halabert of the hevans it's a *** if you can't absorb the damage. So there you go.

I was about level 70 when I did this (Mack around 53).  All I did was have everyone knock out the Obsidian Miasma at the beginning of the battle and then target Fu with a reverse and a divide from each character.  That way they do around 30000 damage altogether taking him down in one turn.  Make sure you have persistance, absorb magic and absorb all elements and you won't have any problems taking him down.

I killed the first boss on disk 4. With my character on in the 30's. You just basicly kill of what deflict spells from the body. And then kill of the other one and the body in the same time.

I had my magic users constantly doing double magib using the 3rd level shadow spell, when those two guys show up you need to just focus on killing each of them ASAp so they don't heal him or sacrifice themselves, So pretty much Kaim and Seth I had them focus on one at a time, while my back row was all casting spirit magic... DO NOT try and boost up your character stats cause he'll just remove them, so even if he lowers your attack don't bother wasting turns on changing it, also adding freeform to all your characters help, and the absorb attack and weapon gaurd...

I just beat this boss with no troubles. All my chars are around level 70.

If you have death get sarah and ming to cast it on the two ghosts and then just whack Fu

I defeated him by using the spell Leveler and the levels of my characters were between 60-70. Also I equipped rings on Kaim and Seth that does damage to magical enemies.
