Yea, I picked it up.  What you get is a direct Arcade port.  Cheevos are fairly easy and the online VS is not a true vs, its a who can get the best score type of thing.  If you were looking for an improvement on the original, you won't find it.  Personally, I'm just happy with the nostalgia I get playing it.

Yea, me too.  Discs of Tron was the first game I ever reached HIGH SCORE on when I was a kid (7 I think).
