On my mothers' console, she cannot seem to get the game to save after leveling up, however on my console, and my wifes' console, we seem to have no problem with the game saving. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The game saves at the start of each new environment, not each level.  So once you reach the Jungle level, you can resume from the start of the 1st Jungle level.  Reach the Beach, then you can resume from the start of the Beach.

IMO, the save system leaves a lot to be desired. It's no fun getting to the last level of an environment only to lose due to having crappy colors to work with and having to restart all the way from the beginning of that environment. I think a midpoint save would be very useful. Include this in a forthcoming patch...please!

How do you resume? Is it only in classic? or is it in endless and arcade as well? I am a bit confused.
