CrazyCougar, how does the retail version compare with the MP Demo?
Can you still open up a private match (16 players)?
How are the lobbies set up, same as the MP Demo?
Any additional communication abilities, like Squad Leader Chat and Proximity Chat?

The demo is just a sampling of whats in store in the retail version. Many more vehicles and larger maps are 2 of the obvious changes you will see. But all in all, you have a feel for what the gameplay is all about from the MP demo.

I guess my general impression of the single player if more of a tutorial to prepare you for online play. You get to familiarize yourself with weapons, roles, etc. The single player is not terrible, but one play through will probably be enough for most everyone. I only played on the normal difficulty, and it seemed fairly easy. While I did die several times, most was due to my own fault or impatience when storming an objective. So with that said, the single player could be fairly easy for most folks even on the higher difficulty.

Yeah, I feel a bit betrayed. Communication seems to be the biggest problem of the game. If I want high end graphics, I would play Halo3 or Duty4. But those games have gotten shallow. I just find it amusing that there are so many people that say Kaos has ben great listening to the community, and providing communication. Well, I think they havent been honest with us. They didnt even provide an XBOX change list before release, or even answer questions if the "communications improvements", which they hoped to have in the title release, were present or not. The final version was sent to MS for certification like 10 days ago. They had plenty of time, even while at GDC.
I am still on the fence of buying this game. I suppose I will, just for Solarfarm and Invasion. It will be a quick sell on Ebay though if Kaos doesnt firm up their post-release improvement plan.
Solarfarm is well worth the purchase. Great map! Except I cant fly a jet to save my life!!!!!!! LOL!
But as for your concerns, I hope that they do address the communities concerns in their update/patch. I honestly do believe they have listened, and take heart in what you guys have said. Lets hope for the best because honestly its a great game over and above the communications issues.

LOL. come on/! this guy prolly also had some deadline. and he can see the graphics with or without team mates. only very few things he couldnt test. so what atleast we know alot more with this review than without. he might add those things later.
Why does it matter to you? If you don't like it, don't read it. Don't flame him for giving his thoughts on a game that maybe some of us want to read about

The MP demo resembles the full retail version in almost every way, with the exception of having more vehicles and maps. There really arent that many "new" features in the multiplayer that you havent already played in the demo. Now, we were able to play 25 vs 25 on test servers using debug kits with a final build of the game earlier last week. So the online portion of the review is based on the debug, the time playing around in player match with another person, and use of the multiplayer demo for general gameplay feel. So hoesntly, yes the review is thorough to the point that all aspects of the game have been tried at one point or another. Just some things cannot be confirmed completely such as the 4 person voice chat system in the retail version.
