There is also a work-around for the Freedom Shall Prevail achievement. I had seen this posted elsewhere and tried it and it definitely works. You need to play through the first scene of the first act in co-op as Knight. Upon reaching the end of the first scene (after the hostages are released and before going outside to fight the Spec Ops), you'll unlock both the That Wasn't So Hard achievement and the Freedom Shall Prevail achievement (assuming you've already beat the game on Realistic and didn't get the achievement then). I didn't have anyone to play co-op with, so I created a new gamertag, logged in under the new gamertag and started a split screen co-op game on Realistic signing in with my usual gamertag as the secondary character (Knight). I had tried this initially has Bishop and it didn't work until I remembered someone saying that you had to be playing Knight for it to work and once I did that I finally got it.

This worked for me and it unlocked the Freedom Shall Prevail achievement. I still don't have the PFC achievement though, hopefully the fix is coming soon.

Yes, she's an Ubi staffer, which is why she's sorry she doesn't have anything new to report.

Probably as you may well have played the game on realistic out of the the box as bishop and not as knight or on any other difficulty level.

Unlike most of us

remembering what a pain it was to unlock the legend achievement in the first vegas, thats what I did - realistic out of the box all the way through solo

Why is it that you never, EVER, seem to do things in order? LoL!

EDIT: Keep in mind that there is a slight chance the achievement will glitch and that you need to do some troubleshooting. However, just because you don't get the achievement right away does not necessarily mean it's glitched.

quick question, if i were to reset my rank as stated above, will i lose my kill count so far (ie i have 150 kill achievement, will it be reset so i need to kill a further 300 for the next one, or can i carry on from were i left off and get no more than 150 for the achievement.)? and my ribbons for achievements so far, obviously i will keep current achievements but will i have to redo them to get the ribon in the awards area to show them up please help.

ok ive answered part of it myself, you keep all the ribbons you had prevoiusly, except as it seems "that wasnt so hard" 1 scene as knight, for some reason others have seen this happen also.

i still would like to know if the kill count resetts though.

i read somewhare the to get the realistic campaign achievement you need to start at the beggining and play through as a game and not start from any particular scene (if you have done it on normal first). so if you play a new game right through choosing to continue game when you leave and come back, i think this is what some people have done and then got the achieement.

i know its a pain but it could be woth a try.

what i believe that is happening with the realiistic achievement, is that some of you play solo for a little bit, then hop onto live, to play co-op, and you join with someone who is already in progress (that means you didnt get into the lobby, you went straight into the mission.).

and while doing that the game recongnizes that you beat the level on the realistic difficulty, but the portion for achievements dosent recongnize you having completed the level.

Example: you join a co-op game on realistic difficulty on the level NEGOTIATIONS (the 1st level) and you connect after your partner killed the very first guy. you will get credit for completing the level on realistic difficulty (check mark) but, you will not get credit for completing the game on realistic, so then you will have to replay the first level again, and it should unlock when you complete that level.

The only problem that i had was completing SHOWDOWN on Estate, and the PFC achievement. i joined a co-op game, and we beat it, but i didnt get the completed Estate achievement. then i hosted a game, and then i beat it, the 2 achievements poped up; completed Estate, and copleted the game on Realistic.

And also, when they fix the PFC achievement, what will we have to do to activate it. Thanks.

OHHHHH, and if you guys wanna join someone elses room, join at the scene before where your at, EXAMPLE: you just completed AMBUSH by yourself and wanna join co-op for ROOFTOPS, search and join a room that is still in AMBUSH, so therefore you wont have the possibility of having to replay the level ROOFTOPS because the game recongnizes that you didnt complete the entire level (from loading the level, to the end of that level).

she hosted right? coz u were knight- yep - so u need to do the last scene of the last level again on realistic cause it wont be ticked on realistic mode. so host the game and do that scene again. if u still dont get the achievement then do the first scene of the first level again and the achievement should unlock

No joy man. We have all the boxes ticked off before we tried the first level thing. After i didnt get it the first time we tried it again (last level) each different way. didnt work.

I dont think joining and solo and co-op is the prob. We played it through split screen on normal and realistic. One profile gets the achievement ,one doesnt. The only thing i havent finished yet is playing thru all over again on realistic. I think if that doesnt work i might as well just right it off as never gonna happen.
