Just updated my setups

The t.v. is way to close to view while sitting at the desk, but I just roll the office chair back a bit to compensate for that...otherwise I start to get a headache

Tell me what you think.

Finally found an Elite TV . Great picture. The best I have seen yet. Very happy with this set.
It was between this and the new xbr 9. Which is also a great tv with more gadgets. But the blacks in this one are unmatched. 1st picture in my photobucket.

Ya you make a good point.  Really the only thing I would like is a lens for my projector, but at the same price as the projector itself I won't be doing that any time soon.  So for now the zooming method will have to do :-)

I don't have the best setup, but its not half bad either.  Here's the rundown:

52" RCA rear-projection TV
Sony STR-K740P 5.1 surround sound
XBox 360 Elite (fancy and black, pinky out!)
.....and thats it.  Picture is here if anyone wants to check it out.

Also pictured:
Dog bed with toys, morning cup of coffee, CNN and small portion of book collection.

My MFW15 sub finally showed up.  After a minor UPS adventure, it's in the back of my car now (barely).

I can't wait to get home and try it out.  Pics up tonight.

This is the sub, just fitting into my car...

Got it into the house, partially unwrapped, and then hauled up the stairs.

View from the back.

Compared it to my old PSB sub, that used to do alright in the room.  Quite the size difference.

Got it slided into it's corner. With a Rockband Strat for size comparison.

Overall view of the new setup.

I'm still toying with the idea of keeping the PSB in the front right corner.  I'm going to play with some settings and see what kind of performance I get out of the MFW first, then try them both.

I didn't have much chance to dial it in, but I set the gain at about 1/3 and put on Finding Nemo.  At about 1:18 in, a young girl named Darla taps on a fish tank.  WOW.  The whole room just shook.  Pleasantly surprised at the lack of rattles, yet the impact of each hit was incredible.

Lots more playing and tweaking to do, but I can tell this thing is going to be amazing.  If anyone is interested in picking one up... have a look here.
