where are the german bases in the level where you have to go recon in the desert?

This is the one while flying in the sand storm?  If it is you have to follow the raido, if you hear static the you need to adjust your course a bit until it becomes clear.  Then follow it in.  Still takes a bit of trial and error, but you'll find them.  Plus I'm sure there are maps to give better bearings.

right listen this way is sure fire success. right when you start hearing the germans speak home in till the voice is really clear... you can do that but what i did was "fly and fly till your automaticly set on a new course (i.e your right off target) once you get the 2 second  animation (and the bloke will repeat about following there signal or somthing like that)| dont move just keep flying the direction the  plane was set on and just look left and right! job done (repeat 3 times to complete recon segment)

   What am I going to do with you guys..hah? Here's the trick to the Recon Desert Mission; turn off all your volumes except for Speech. When you do that, its really easy to hear the speech clarity. If its clear, your on target; if it's not (you have static) turn left/right slightly to which course direction makes the radio audio signal sound cleaner. Which ever direction has a little better clarity, keep gong in that direction till the radio signal audio is clear, and then stay on that course. Do this with all three bases, and you'll find them in no time. Hope this helps.
