wow that is really useful! I also didn't know this fact about the skulls, but everyone should be aware that....

 

"You have to collect the skulls while you are sneaking in the forts. When you attack a fort with your army all the skulls are gone!"

    so if i attack the fort i have to start the game over?

If you want the Skullbagger 'cheevos get the skulls before you start the Fort battles.  From your gamercard, you haven't made it to the Fort battle at the end of the first island so you can still get 'em without starting over.

thanks...ok i am stuck. i think u can help me. ok i have the dragon thing and it says i need to get inside this place(where some portal is. i think its called dark water). but everytime i try to get in there is like a 100 guards. what should i do?

You need to be sneeky, go round the side till you see a flag hanging over the fence that lets you climb into the camp, be as quiet as you can to get the the glowing place..

As far as the Darkwater portal look on the map near Darkwater you'll see a spot with an X on it. Near there is a rug you can climb up and into the camp. Just stay to the wall and you should not encounter to many enemies.

Skullbagger 2 is for Holdenfort and Caldberg. There are 6 skulls at each location...

I just wish I'd have known you needed to get them before you start the battle. I had 10/12 but decided to start Caldenberg and after scouring the city [every square inch] I realized you had to get them before the battle. Oh well, maybe I'll go back and get them eventually. Probably go back and try to get Skullbagger 1 on Hard...

Ok, well I thought it was just me. In Holdenfort I followed the walkthrough to get the 6 skulls, but when I got to the sixth one it only showed me as having 5. I went over all of the skull locations twice more and still did not get another skull. I am certain that I went to the correct locations because I picked up a skull each time, so I'm thinking one did not register. Just to make sure I was not seeing things wrong, I proceeded to Caldberg to get the skulls there, but still only ended up with 11 skulls when it was all said and done. It kind of seems like a pain in the *** to do it all over again though.

yeah, the controller rumbles the same way when you pick up skulls and money sacs...so what i thought was a skull, was actually just chump change [insert frustration]. i suggest to use the walkthrough mentioned above with the ascii maps walkthrough i found on gamefaqs. i was only missing the first two "skullbagger" achievements and it took me like 5 hours to get them both. otherwise i would've 1000'd in one run...

To get previous skulls you've missed you'll have to play thru again.
