Re: GamerDads version 3.0 (aka GamerParents)

i was big into he-man and the "joes" as well.  that and "mask", the ones with the vehicles that transformed and then they got a cool mask to wear.  i think my parents kept a lot of that stuff but i've got no idea where it is.  my dad had the baseball card collection that would be worth millions today but his mom threw it away.  i think he kept all my stuff for that reason.

i don't know if you guys where ever into pen and paper stuff like d&d but i've got an original middle earth campaign collection that predates d&d as well.

All of the above, FTW.  (Skyhawks are newer toys, I suppose.  Couldn't remember if the old ones were Silverhawks or Skyhawks.)

Bubble bee?  BUBBLE BEE?!?!?

Let me give you a little advice.  Keep your nose away from the white out fumes as you apply it to your paperwork.

^  Dang.  That was a HUGE oversight on my part.  I heart Voltron for sure.  There was a free episode on Marketplace for awhile.  Might still be up.

Second one was ok.

Third one is why I will never click on one of your links again EVAR!

Freckles- there were some MASK toys at my folks house a couple weeks back that the kids and I played with as well as my Centurions and Voltron.  Transformers are all at my house.

I have most of the original Star Wars toys.  My Mom was a neat freak and thankfully made us keep the boxes for storage.  Best Christmas ever was when Santa brought about 10 of the Empire Strikes Back figures.  Loads of G.I.Joes - 12" and 3 3/4" and Transformers G1.

Anyone remember Micronauts?

My whole family enjoyed that show.  We still periodically use "Not the Momma!" to this day.  Smile [:)]

Just this last month I was at a Scifi convention and one of my friends had a Jim Henson themed party room and she had Dinosours on the TV. (along with Fraggle rock and other varous muppet movies) It was a big hit with the people coming in and out of the room. Its amazing the show wasn't a bigger "hit" with how many people I've know who watched it and loved it.

I liked that show, actually.  It was a total Transformers rip-off, but oh well.

I used to like them as well.  In the beginning I didn't care if they were Transformers or Gobots until I got a little older.  Then I realized I was suppose to like one or the other.  I can't remember the leader's name, but I remember the bad racecar named "Crasher" and how weird it was when I found out she was a girl.  Robots weren't suppose to have gender...

Braid is worth the 1200 points in my opinion.  Amazing design, great puzzle platformer, and it is not my genre at all.  I had the trial, waffled, and EthanJude got to hear me talk myself into it while on chat...

No disappointed at all.  It even kept me from popping in NCAA....

I downloaded the demo.. and tried it out.. It was one of a kind.  Not sure how much time I will have to put into it though with so many new games coming out I have on reserve not to mention the stack I havent played yet.

Xeno, I'd give you CUL 8 back just for appearing on this day.  Good to see you!

So, yeah...Geometry Wars 2...that game is addictive.  I really like it, and I'll dare say I like it better than the first one!  There are six modes in this version and they all focus on a different skill (or lack thereof in my case).  I was up until 3 a.m. playing this game and I'm feeling the pain now.  On second thought, why am I sitting here typing when I could be playing...?!

P.S. - Dougie, should I mention your gamer picture issue again? Smile [:)]  And Nien, what gives...?  Football season is upon us and you ditch your team's picture?  Surprise [:O]  What is going on around here??  Huh? [:^)]
