Spoiling an otherwise perfect game is the fact that the blocks blend in with the background.  How could something like that get past the playtesters?  They really need to patch this.  The publishers website is simply a one page ad for the game, there is no way to leave comments.  I keep playing despite this flaw but it detracts from my enjoyment of the game.  Very frustating.  I hope the developers read these forums and do something.

Rre you running a standard def or HD tv? I've played the game up to level 8 and I didn't notice any problems with the blocks blending into the background. I saw a vast difference with most games when I switched from standard def to high def.

I agree!! I use HDMI at 1080i and when dark purple on a dark background comes up it sucks. Especially when everything is blowing up you have to wait until the smoke clears to see anything. I love the game but they have quite a few bugs to work out yet.

I never noticed a problem with the colors/ backgrounds...

I cant say i've experienced any problems in the visual department.  But then again, i play in 1080P on my 60 inch plasma ALL THE TIME.

As was said earlier for me its the purples on the dark background which is the problem. Often think its a gap and its a block.

I agree , what is other is a great game is slightly spoiled by the blocks blending with the backgrounds on some of the levels . It seems to be a problem with the purple blocks mostly .

i noticed this prob. also when i first played, but i got used to it. not that big of a deal. great game!
