FLOATING AWARDS
What are the "awards" floating at the base of the puzzle for?  There's several you can get during the game but they seem to go away, when you start a new puzzle.  What are they for and if you can, how do you use them?  Or are they just for decoration???  Sorry but I don't remember any of their names.

I don't think that they do anything at all except for showing your progression through each of the 10 levels. I guess if you read the whole story there might be some meaning, but I usually find puzzle games stories to be pretty pointless.

Well thanks for the info.  But being a guy, if that means anything...story, directions, etc, I haven't been reading the story.  I did try to figure out what the heck they were and how to use them but came up with nothing.  Too bad.  It would have been fun to see what they might do.

Re: FLOATING AWARDS

They don't do anything significant. I haven't been following the story either (is there anyone who does?), but I did catch a few glances here and there and here is what they do.

You get to a level and it says something like, beat this stage to gain the amulet of so-and-so. Then you do this a couple more times and you reach the pyramid stage and the story will say something like "you have collected all the amulets and now the doors have opened....", or some crap like that. But the levels are completely linear, so there isnt anyway of reaching the pyramids without them or anything, so it is just for show.

And thanks to you too Johnny Sinister.  I was just hoping there was something you could do with them, besides look at them.

Personally I read it all Embarrassed [:$] It wasn´t bad, just everytime the same. In fact, I was waiting a surprise or something, but nothing.

For those that don´t want to read it, it´s just something like this:

SPOILERS TiQal is being destroyed, and a chaman tells you to journey to talk with the gods, to save the city. You then go place to place, to every pyramid always learning things and making offerings. You later learn than TiQal is being like that because your people isn´t as it should be: They have forgotten their history, they are not brave, etc. The gods tells you to guide your people, and you return as a king. TiQal is saved and all people is in peace. END

I don´t remember it fully, and I don´t know if those are the best words, but it´s something like that.

I actually started reading the storty at first, but then I got the point where it was like "You have been awarded the ear of corn!!!". Then I was like, forget it.

That was cool how you did those "invisible" words.  I did the old "left click and drag" thing to see them, after I busted a blood vessel in my eye, straining to see them!  LOL!
