My gamestop called me on Friday told me my pre-order codes where in for the pub games.. I picked them up after they called and I am just wating for them to appear on the marketplace.. :)

Hi guys.  I've been busy with moving and not having internet.    I can't wait for Fable 2.  We're going this week to pre-order and get the code.  I did hear that if you suck at the games and lose a lot, you will start off Fable 2 in debt.  That would suck.

Reminds me of the time my daughter and I had a conversation in a resteraunt... she was telling me how much gold she collected and the number of  kills... and I asked her if she ascended to the underworld yet and if she had enough money for her dark armour.... Your stories of dorkishness made me laugh...probably because they hit close to home!    Back in the day when I used to MUD, if you got several of us in the room, the conversation would eventually disintegrate into Mudversation.  Those who didn't MUD wanted to kick someone (EJ, were you one of them!? ) and it was only after we'd get in a heated discussion over whose guild was more overpowered that we'd realize what was going on.    Yup, we could effectively drive an otherwise hoppin' party to a hault. 

The pool boy and I erupt into some pwn speak at a restaurants almost every time we eat out.  I realize that discussing shoving a rocket up someone's hiney or shooting him between the eyes isn't the politest of dinner conversation, but there is no reason to look at me like I've actually got a battle shield and rocket launcher shoved in my back pocket!  I think we further confuse people when we talk about hunting terrorists, because clearly, the pool boy and I are just not fit to be hunting anyone or anything.

Hello peeps, thanks for all the replys to my post, i've only just had time to read them. I've got abit of good news and bad news so i'll start with the bad, my insurance are refusing to pay out for the burgalry because of the way the thiefs got in (the patio door was left unlocked by mistake ) so it looks like the robbing b******s win another battle, they got away with: PSP + 3 games, 15 Xbox 360 games, 1 ipod, digital camera, camcorder, gold ring, spare key to my car (which is wrote off haha ), sat nav and all are passports. The worst thing on the list is the camcorder because it contained a disk with Harley (my 2 year old son) on it. The good news is my Xbox has just arrived in Frankfurt, Germany so hopefully it'll be on it's way back to me soon and also i pick my new car up at the end of the week .

When you get your 360, immediately download Bionic Commando: Rearmed.  It's incredible, especially if you are old enough to have played the original.

PUB GAMES UPDATE:  It appears that there are tons of peeps with issues getting their redeem coupons to work.  I am one of those.  Anyone else have trouble, or even get theirs to work?

am i the only one finding it funny thinking about the gamerchix talking gaming in public?  i guess i've just never seen the girls doing it and looking dorky in public like i know me and my boys have.  i'm imagining walking into the pub where i met my wife and being attracted to her.  walking over to say hello and i hear, "and i shot him in the face with a rocket launcher."  actually i take it back, that's not funny at all.  it's really attractive.   wow, what a strange fantasy .  ok, back to work.

 

ps.  we must be close to rolling over another page.

I'm not sure about Fable 2.  I liked Fable ok, but didn't see what all the hype was about - I know certain folks who consider it to be the greatest game ever, but for some reason I just couldn't get into it.

Yup.  Launched this morning.  They are available for 800 MS points.  It had its charm.  Problem was that Peter Molyneaux said Fable was going to be "the best game ever" and there was no way the first was going to live up to that, especially with only 12 hours of a campaign.
