For starters, I have every single achievement apart from head chomper and hat collector, i have not been online since, therefore my card hasnt updated.

I am also sincerely sorry if some hats are incorrect but as I stated- I found it on google and put it on here to try and help which is more than you are doing.

I will continue to add to this and provide others with information that I found useful or needed at times- just to make life simple; and if you want to ignore it then do so.

I will add some more information to this FAQ later this evening.

Def Jam, FAQ authors take all kinds of heat.. usually in the form of constructive criticism but sometimes not. You clearly stated it was unfinished multiple times. What can you do. There's lot of info here that will help me out with achievements and I'm sure it can be used as a springboard for a more complete FAQ.

I believe I'm missing those exact same hats.

I've noticed that different players can play simultaneously with different skill levels.  They will differ in the number of lives, "quarters", and how much damage their bullets do to bosses.

Im missing 5 hats.

Ive played through the game twice and I blow up like every thing I see, so I dunno.

Im missing one after top hat, before nurse, after cheif hat, and 2 after rooster.

You got it all wrong... you're a shape that represents a rocket and you're safely delivering goods to the western seaboard. It's just a matter of delivery, no need to throw out words like rockets, and united states.

You're right.  After further inspection, it looks like a payload of white confetti.  And that isn't the US at all.  Though it looks like it, the true US would have Canada up north and South America below.

I need help getting this one. I started the level and dug down into the ground then suffocated and didnt unlock any hat.

Is there something i have to do that im not doing?

Yeah it's become apparent that you have to earn hats a slightly different way round on the XBLA version.

The jester and yellow shark fin hats are the only one's I'm missing also. I used the hat list guide that's up on the gamefaqs website and all seem fine except for those two. I've beatin all the levels from easy through hard and the jester and yellow shark fin hats still didn't unlock. I think it might be glitched or you have to try and beat the levels a certain way (which I tried already). Here's list I was using also:
