Re: Sign Petition for MORE Castlevania (and games like it!)

oh *** yea. more Castlevania for sure on XBLA or just a new fresh retail Castlevania. I love the series, but I tire of all the new ones goin all handheld. Yea they lend themselves well to handhelds, but to see a new entry in old fashioned 2D on 360 would be a godsend.

But more XBLA entries would be great too. Castlevania 1, 2, 3, and Rondo!! 4 sure.Geeked [8-|]

Just to note, the PSP is coming out soon with a remake of Rondo of Blood but I wouldn't get a PSP just for one game

It is really good, but not as good as SOTN.

That's debatable and also consider SOTN took a lot from Rondo of Blood that made it as good as it is in the first place. And I'm not sure how you can say for certain it isn't as good if you never played both games all the way through.

i beat Rondo a while back. While it was in japanese, i still loved it. I like SOTN more most likely because I played it hours on end when I was younger. It's just that SOTN ties so much together and was probably the first game I actually gave a damn about. Ya know? I would still love to see an English port of Rondo of Blood. Actually, all of the castlevania games. Might be a bit hard with Nintendo holding the contracts for most of them so they can come out on the wii.

You need to go to www.petitiononline.com and start an actual petition and send it to a representative for konami. Just a "petition" on a forum wont work, you need to do it the right way if you want it to work.

If they see enough support from the thread it will speak for itself.  Fewer people will actually go to another website when they could just drop a sig here.

Well you see Tumba, a petition actually on the xbox live forum is against the terms of use policy. So by posting a link to a actual petition site, you are not hosting a petition on here and the petition is actually sent. The chances of a petition working are slim anyways, but it's worth a try. Thats why I suggested petitiononline.com. Just trying to help. And someone did if for tombraider anniversary and people are signing it. People love castlevania more than tomb raider. They will sign.

actually from what i understand, the project leader on the Rondo/Symphony version on PSP feels Sony dupped them into making it for PSP. He said Sony said the PSP is gonna be a real big hit, while he feels its not what he wanted to work on. So honestly I'd love to see the PSP version get a XBLA port. but like that will ever happen. . .

Any of the Castlevania's, and also, any game that feels and plays more like an actual game. I want more games on XBLA where you have to progress, save your file, level-up and the like. Not games like all of the arcade games realeased where all you do is play it, and then start over again the next time you start it up. I know it's called XBL "ARCADE", but with the new 250 mb file limit, we should see many games like this.

i completely agree with you spawn. How could they be happy with a great game on the psp. The psp was a flop. I hate them and they arent even that great to begin with... My friend literally uses his as a paperweight for his bills at the office. LoL! There could not be a better place for it.

Any more of the Castlevania titles with RPG elements like SOTN should be put on!

Not a fan of the ones without RPG features, just not my thing.

Chrono Trigger will never, ever be seen on a Microsoft platform. It was on a Nintendo console (SNES), and it will most likely only be seen on the Wii's Virtual Console :(

Also, I know someone will say "But this game was for the PS1, why is it on the 360?". That, I don't know. But we're not going to see Chrono Trigger, that's for sure :(

I believe they broke up and that is why there isn't a sequel yet.  Have you seen the Chrono Trigger project fans were attempting to do?  Look it up on youtube, it looks so great

are u kidding me, wii or 360, id love to see Chrono trigger again, but i think we can all agree that a whole new entry in chrono series would be more than welcome. Chrono Cross was great and did well, so i dont see why there hasnt been a new one. Shame too, as too many Square classic franchises collect dust while they continue to churn out the umpteenth version of FF1. And it seems their beating the Mana stick heavily too.

Re: Sign Petition for MORE Castlevania (and games like it!)

To be honest, I don't think we can count Chrono Trigger out just yet. You really never know with Square, one day their making history on Nintendos console, then their rewriting the definitinon of alliances with Sonys console, so for all we know they just might just jump ship one more time. Wherever they go, success will follow and they will help the success and dominatin of whatever console they support. And with the recent slip that FF13s exclusivity is under discussion, we just might see Square pull quite proverbially, well. . .a 360 Stick out tongue [:P]. And maybe I was a in a small crowd (that included most game reveiwers exalted critique), but Chrono Cross was no Chrono Trigger, but was an excellent game in it's own right, none the less.

But either way, were getting kinda off topic here. Lets bring it back to Castlevania.
