Re: Health and Reflex Boosters Guide

i printed out this guide.

i printed out another guide.

i compared the two, while i was playing, to make sure the descriptions were the same.

i picked up EVERY booster, both health and reflex.

but..no achievement.

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY, now what do i need to do?

Things like this unfortunately happen Ryan. It's happend to myself twice now, once when I completed the campain on moderate difficulty & it didn't unlock. Then, even worse then the last, once I had completed the game using less then 500 rounds of ammunition, that didn't unlock either.

The best thing to do is delete your save file & start again pal.

how should i go about deleting it?
some way in game, or go to memory and delete it there?

Ye, go to the memory through the dashboard, delete it through the FEAR save.

It doesn't delete all the levels & bounus mission & the instant action maps you unlocked. Just your campain progress.

you couldnt be more wrong....

true, there are a lot of achievements for the online - but a HUGE majority of them are only worth 5 points each.. the online achievements are a joke in FEAR

well over the majority of the gamerscore in FEAR lies in beating the campaign multiple times

halo sucks - get over it

Very true, there are 250 points for two storyline based achievements alone. Then there's the exterminator one(35), no juice(65), real time(65) etc.
There are absolutely loads of achievements on offer for completing the campaign in various ways.

Hey, BilliyBoy, do you plan on buying the game soon? You seem to be very interested in the game. I'm just saying that you'll never appreciate the true awsomeness of F.E.A.R.. until you actually play it. I say its worth it.

Haha. No i've got the game Beav3r, I just havn't been connected to xbox live for a while now. It shouldn't be long before i'm back online & i've got my gamercard refreshed here.
I've got about 8,000 gamerscore now because of all the FEAR achievements i've got recently.

Oh, i see. I think. What you're saying is the gamercard needs to be "refreshed" to show your actual gamerscore? So it's not really 6000+ gamerpoints, its more around 8000, and there really are some FEAR points to your name? Hmmm, i din't know that was possible.

Yeah it's possible because I went to visit my dad once and took my 360 with me and he didn't have a router so I'd do achievements offline (this was before I knew that they would just say "acquired" on them with no dates..even though I manually set the time and date myself)..and when I got back home a week later my gamerscore had shot up a good 3,000 points thanks to Amped 3, NBA 2K6, and King Kong lol.

Yep, it;s happened to me too. If you check my GRAW 2 achievements, the majority of the campaign ones I have I got when my basement flooded, so I ha dto move my 360. Even that didn't stop me from playing though. Big Smile [:D]

Ye that's right. I've only played in the campaign mode & instant action maps. I only need both the extreme ones (can't remeber names) to have all the singleplayer achievements.

So what your saying is that until I get connected to xbox live again, I will still have the same gamercard on the left here. There is definately no way to change it through this website or anything....Oh well....

Re: Health and Reflex Boosters Guide

I'm still confused. What i was thinking was along the line of Brek's comments of "acquiring" achievements offline using an account you'd usually use online, thus giving you that "aquired", but without the date. As far i was aware of, you can aquire achievements offline using a seperate offline account. Only the gamerscore wouldn't show up online, or would be transferable in any way.

From the sound of things, i hope Billyboy didn't forget to log in, or use his online account. After playing the campaign and instant action on extreme, i really wouldn't want to do it again.

I'm getting confused now! All I know is that my gamercard doesn't show any of the achievements i've got recently, & my changed gamerpicture.

What do you mean "log in"? To xbox live??

Yes the only way your achievements and pics will reflect on the site is if you're connected to live.

The account you use to play online, and take advantage of X-live features like friends, private chat, online multiplayer, etc. You can still acquire points without being logged into X-live as long as you are using the "online" account. In other words, the gamercard you use for online play. Does that make sense? Here is another example from a personal perspective...

I have two accounts on my 360; an online account and an offline account. The online account (i'm sure you're aware of) is used to play with other players online and to acquire gamerscore. I don't have to be "connected" to X-live to acquire points, but the dates of acquirement will not be listed. I use the offline account to check out new games. I'm a perfectionist, so i don't want to collect gamerpoints from games i don't really like, or intend to finish.

What i'm worried about is that you might have been using an offline acount (not your usual online account) to play FEAR, which is probably why it can't be found in the achievement summary. I'm hoping i'm wrong, though, and it is more of a technical glitch.

This BillyBoy account is the one i've used to unlock all my FEAR achievements. I only play games, online or offline, with the same account.

Re: Health and Reflex Boosters Guide
So do you have to get all the boosters through on play, or can you just collect them through multiple play throughs and selecting missions on mission select?

You need to get them all in one play.

Much love to the OP for this guide. Very helpful and easy to understand.

I missed a couple of reflex boosters, do I have to start the campaign all over again or can I go to the mission and pick it up?
