Can you make the changes during the season? I get locked up on the Jets twice now. I turn off Injuries but it still won't simulate or allow me to play the game. What you are saying makes a lot of since. This game does kind of suck. It looks good, but I think EA is jumping the shark with this game.

you will probably have to start it over like me, i started over 3 times already, once i made it all the way to 2027 and got stuck in the cap room options where you release a player or trade, i need help in that one cause i cant release anymore when it says you  will be short on the certain position the player is in so how else would you fix the cap to make room? anybody?

Try extending players with 1 year left on their contract to a 7 year contract.....of course you'll need to be close enough to the cap to make the it under with one restructuring (you won't be able to sign the restructured contract unless it results in you being under the cap).

Dude, you're not the dumb@ss ....the people at EA are.  For as long as I remember, Madden has had this one HUGE flaw, that putting a player on INJURED RESERVE doesn't open a roster spot.  That is the whole  point of IR in the NFL.  The one good thing that could come from this 'Jets bug' or whatever you want to call it, is that they may actually be forced to see what they are doing wrong.

I won the Super Bowl in Madden last night as the Bears so now I'm going to sim the remaining 29 years to get the 400 points.

I tried doing one already but the 30 days of free agency seems to take forever.

Anyone else with this problem? How can it be corrected?

cool man that worked,finally got that over with! even found a quicker way to do it all that i did not notice before , right after you simulate the probowl and get into the offseason an that lilttle menu with the retire players and player resigns and rookie etc etc at the bottom of that list is an option to go to preseason(that i never payed any attention to before)sims all the resigns and everything real quick..i was doing that manually an it took forever, so if any one wants to sim all that real quick just pick the colts and sim every single thing you'll be done in around 5 hours!i did that while playing halo 2 on the xbox and just kept lookin on the 360 screen to see if i had to sim another season or etc... hope that will help some one out..

I'm taking my time with this achievment....so I'm only at 2020 right now.  I have only noticed one problem.  If you get a player hurt where you're only required to have one for your roster...like FB, K, P....it will ask you to replace that guy from the FA pool.  My FB got hurt...but there were no FB FA's for me to sign...so it wouldnt go any further for me.  I had a hurt FB...but nobody I could sign to replace him on my roster.   I tried telling the CPU to fix my roster...but it wouldnt do it either.  I had to start the whole season over because of that...but that's been the only issue I've had so far.

Unreal Championship is still the best game in XBL history, despite how much more advanced the 360 is.

i cant get any achievements to unlock, ive simmed through a few seasons and not saved it cause i didnt get any achievements, also to test it i played the game from the play now screen and got several first downs and touchdowns but i never unlocked an achievement, what am i doing wrong?

Yup, I got fired once. I think it may be random but it is probably based on coach's performance.

siming is worth it if u not a madden fan but i cant sim all 30 years cause the *** get more better when regular players retired and u drafted college players!!! i got every madden acheivement!!! look and learn and play that madden 09!!! thats easy gamerpoints right there
