Yes.. The Brewery. That is why I am digging through these forums. I found all the posts and was then notified that I could access the elevator ( I am assuming that is what opens when you spin the completed wheel.) I got turned around and walked out the door. I came right back in, and now I am missing a post for the wheel, and I am assuming since I have combed it 5-6 times to make dang sure, and the fact that now I see others having the same issue... I am screwed. I am really not happy that there is not a fix for this.

I'm not saying you didn't have a weird glitch, but the only thing that seems weird about your description I have bolded above. Spinning the wheel with all the posts is what opens the back door of the brewery. You can't walk out that door until you spin the wheel. Or do you mean you went across the whole room and went back out the front door that you originally accessed the brewery from?

I am really not sure. I see someone else that thinks they were out of range of the wheel when the last post was put in, and it caused the glitch. All I know is I am missing a post and cannot continue through the game.
What would be nice is if codemasters had included some kind of bug warning when I went and registered this game. I had a paper inside game that told me to register and I would get a free playing guide (in web form). All they had to do is put a temporary notice in that, and I would have had a heads up. Not to mention all the people that are buying the game right now, and have no idea about this flaw. Most people (me included), do not go checking message boards until they get stuck. In this case, that means GAME OVER.

Are we talking about the same wheels? The one missing the post is next to elevator. The back door- I think at the time of getting the audio signal that you get when the last post is put into the wheel, I did see a main door open and dwarves coming out. Now that door is shut.
As far as going out the "wrong" door- I think I did, and that is why I said I got turned around. I was in Minion Looting Mode!

Yeah, the back door of the Brewery is right next to the wheel you have to find the posts for, actually the wheel is a few steps away from and also in between both the elevator and the back door. The back door opens after you turn teh wheel and some dwarfs come out of it. Perhaps you wnet down the elevator after putting the last post in the wheel but before you turned the wheel? Maybe that is what caused the glitch. I went right out the door after turning it and everything was fine. I actually missed the part about there being an elevator there and went back and found the elevator later in the game.

Hmmm.. interesting thought. Where I am at now is the elevator is not open and the door is shut. I can walk up to where the elevatory should be (and when I do it says The Brewery 2), but no elevator. I see the wheel, but it is missing a post. So it seems somehow I turned the wheel? That is what openned the door? So that one wheel does both? Hmmm... I am not really sure what the heck I did then. It is driving me nuts... lol

Oh.. I also meant to say I never actually even saw the elevator move and I never got in it.

No info on codemasters yet about 360 patch

Codemasters really needs to get the ball rolling on the patch. I have been stuck in that stupid brewery for 3 weeks now, and still no patch!!! C'mon microsoft!! I just want to finish the game! I think that codemasters should issue a refund to all of the 360 owners who bought the game and cannot finish it due to their stupidity. Did they take absolutely no time to test all of the aspects of the game after they completed it? I am so pissed!!!

Sorry for the delay - I said it would be yesterday that I'd report back but work, as usual, gets in the way!

Anyway, there will be an update made for the Xbox 360 game, and we’re as certain as we can be that any saved game issues will be fully resolved. Wherever it proves possible all relevant issues resolved on PC will also be resolved on Xbox 360. We’re working through the various planning, logistical and technical issues at present.

We can’t confidently give you an estimated date at the moment so rather than give any unachievable date at this point and dash hopes in the future, we'll confirm a better release date estimate soon. However to confirm once more, an Xbox 360 upgrade is being worked on.

We apologise for the delay.

Thanks for the information on this glitch. I haven't gotten there yet, but I'm glad to know about it before I do. I hope they release it soon and I hope someone sticky this thread for others to be aware of it.

Without a map, I wander around aimlessy for hours until I stumble on something new. Where or at what point do you encounter the brewery? Or at least what realm you enter it from?

Reality is more than perception
Think about it.

What is it ... Golden Hills??? After you find your way into outer castle wall (which has many bomb throwing dwarves on it). Out front a few fire throwing dwarves. Just outside entrance to brewery there is an elf that speaks to you. The mission you go in there for is The Beer Kettle? or maybe The Beer Keg? Not sure, I think Kettle.

Yeah... you actually go in to get to Goldo, but the Beer Kettle is a nice little bonus if you take the elevator instead of the door after turning the wheel.

But you have to complete the Heaven's Peak mission before the doors to the Brewery will open.

OK lets not waiver too far from the topic. I understand people need help with directions (and your a better man than me to stop for them) but lets just keep this to the glitch updates, because everytime I get a notification concerning this thread, I think we may have found a cure. So please just "stay on target Luke" Start another thread label Directions or something.

This is not any great news, but I wanted to just give you any info that comes from the administrator at the Codemasters Forum. The main reason is any posts from them are few and far between on this subject. Also to make sure the next person reading this thread knows the current info.

We'd love to have a magic wand to fix any issue, but we don't, so we have to develop a patch, test, retest, submit and so on. It takes time - it's frustrating for you lot though, and we understand that. But we haven't forgotten about you and the Xbox 360 owners that expect a fix, and we're working on one at the moment.

Just got the game, I'll have to watch out for this glitch because I would have hated to run into it myself. Hope it gets fixed soon!
