Print, I had the same problem.  Try setting the team to be coached ONLY (light blue) instead of played directly (darker blue).  That worked for me.

Maybe but I got mine as player coach and just simmed all the matches. Not sure what has caused this for you guys.

that one took me about 10-15 attempts to unlock, i was doing it everytime too, just stick at it itll unlock mate.

A lot harder, since you would first need to find an oppenent at an quite inactive game
It Is Now
Suprisingly hard, but sooner or later you'l get it when you play IE career mode for fun.
High Tension
You could get it sooner or later, but you are often stuck with a weaker team, to get a challange from the game, and its swos law that weaker teams dont win penalty shootouts.
Stay The Distance + Champs
This must be very easy to obtain by either creating a diy league with all club teams from latvia and choose Barcelona as your own team and then simulate all matches, if it doesnt work since its diy competition, just go for a regular competition and pick, IE Ajax in the dutch competition as they win it 9/10 times back then. You could also just unlock it after your first or second season in career mode, depending on the team you selected (works for promotion leagues aswell)
Possession
Could be hard, Strong team VS weak team, score 2/3 goals for fun and pass, and pass and pass the ball arround.
Goalscoring Superstar Hero
This is indeed the hardest achievement to get....
Thrash'Em
Fairly easy to get if you play strong VS weak on 10 minutes, you could also obtain it after a while, when you where able to build a strong team on career mode, i suggest to check out some swos fansites (www.sensiblesoccer.de) to see some recommended bargains.
Flying Header Hero
Supereasy to get if you mastered the game. My play is 4-4-2 and ussualy a cross from the left A to the Right A who heads it in at the near post. I score about 33% off my goals by headers
